Kinda.....I'd rather watch more Briscoes promos though.

* Sheamus vs. Dolph Ziggler is revealed for later, possibly a dark main event.

* SmackDown opens up with John Cena picking on Dolph Ziggler. Alberto Del Rio comes out and wants Cena to leave his show. Del Rio taunts Cena. Cena says he wanted to wrestle in the main event tonight but is happy with going at it now.

* John Cena defeated Alberto Del Rio. After the match as Cena was walking up the ramp celebrating, Dolph Ziggler came from behind and hit Cena with the Money in the Bank briefcase.

* Backstage segment with Cena and Booker T. Cena is upset and wants to get his hands on Ziggler. Booker says Ziggler first has to face Sheamus tonight.

* The Great Khali squashed David Otunga. Hornswoggle was at ringside with Khali.

* Kofi Kingston, Kane and Daniel Bryan beat Darren Young, Titus O'Neil and Wade Barrett in a long six-man match. The end came when Kane chokeslammed Young and Bryan put him in the No Lock.

* Damien Sandow came out looking for an apprentice. He brought a fan in the ring and gave him an IQ test. The guy failed on the last question and Sandow dismissed him from the ring.

* Damien Sandow defeated Tyson Kidd in a quick match.

* Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal defeated The Usos in another quick match.

* Sheamus beat Dolph Ziggler by DQ in the main event. They fought for a while and went to the floor several times. Sheamus had Ziggler in the Cloverleaf submission when Big Show came out and caused the DQ. Show and Ziggler beat Sheamus down until John Cena ran out for the save. Cena cleared the ring to end SmackDown.

Same. I might be sour on ROH, but the Briscoes are always good for a laugh.

I'm surprised Mark just didn't pull out one of his good teeth and auction that one off.

I love the Briscoes as a team, but I want Jay to get a singles run. I wish he was in Steen's spot.

smackdown is coming here in january. should i go? after mania i want to see another show

and the briscoes kinda suck apart. they are gods together

Mark sucks on his own. Jay's a more than competent singles wrestler.

Why can't this be Cesaro's finisher?

And this sounded like a gunshot.

WWE legend Mick Foley offered high praise of Dean Ambrose. "You have no idea how relieved I am to see @theDeanAmbrose on Raw," Foley wrote. "He's going to be a major player in WWE for a long time to come."

Shame his feud with Ambrose was called off. It was really interesting how that had been building up.

Paul Heyman hired The Shield to protect Punk because deep down he feels Punk is too weak to hold on to the title by himself. The way Heyman is always seen clutching the title to his chest might suggest that he is using Punk to forge himself a position of power. Eventually Punk discovers this and starts to doubt himself. This causes Punk to lose to the Rock at the Rumble. Heyman dumps Punk, BAM Punk face turn (too soon?). Heyman could then get Lesnar involved somehow.

It's a great idea! However, I want to see Punk and Lesnar team up for awhile before feuding. I want them to be the new Power Trip so to speak.

When Punk turns face again I fully believe it will because he finds Hayman out to be the snake everyone told him about.

Hayman turning on Punk or Punk turning on Hayman.... Or both at the same time is a perfect way to put Punk back in the good graces of the handful of people that boo him now and keep him there for the people that still cheer him.

When I say this heel run sucks it's not because of Punk and Heyman. They're doing their best to make it work. It's that Punk has been cast in the role of a typical WWE heel. Mostly because Cena and Ryback need extra help getting cheered because the characters aren't good enough on their own, and it's still not working as well as WWE wants.

The best Heel CM Punk for me was his first run vs Jeff Hardy. Everything he said was true and he was a heel without having to blatantly be a heel. He was just himself, which just so happened to be everything against the current smackdown face. SES was great too but for the fact that he got legitimate heat. People hated his guts. Now, he's the heel that can't get boo'd no matter how hard he tries.

Totally agree with this.

It comes down to market segmentation, strangely. The problem with CM Punk's current heel run is that his main opponent has been John Cena, a character that pretty much 100% of CM Punk fans would boo anyway.

His heel run would be more successful if he feuded against someone who actually would convert traditional Punk fans to boo him (basically taking away his face "target market"). If he had beat down Daniel Bryan or William Regal at some point, his current heel run would be more effective.

Saw See No Evil the other day and all I can say is that I found Kane's segments with Daniel Bryan much more entertaining then the entire film.

Ah, yes, Smackdown in 2009. Take me back there, please.

Look guys, it's Ryback only he's taller and has more hair! [YT]hyjpMUtpVFI[/YT]

I don't think Punk is that into being Heel right now. He did everything he could to get heat (trolling kids, insulting crowds, Kings illness) yet it seems negated by the lame respect gimmick and cowardly act which Punk undersells by doing goofy mock scared faces everytime Ryback shows up.

If they ditched the cowardly act/ respect thing and just let Punk show the obnoxious side of his personality it would be more intresting, entertaining and make Ryback or Cena look strong because they are going up against a craft talented heel instead of a wuss.

Big Show or Triple H are made to look strong as heels and when the faces beat them it makes the faces look stronger.

agreed, but the only reason why he was sucessful as a heel on smackdown was cause Vince didnt really pay much attention to whats happening with the creative part of smackdown (think Doc Hendricks was in charge of creative on smackdown) ,thus giving him more freedom to do whatever he felt would help his character.

Totally not needed. It would just be for the benefit of Helmsly stroking his ego and getting his 'return the favour' rub. A potential Punk/Lesnar feud and match would be so much more appealing.

Well of course it's only an ego rub for HHH as everything's he done lately has been one giant ego rub. He didn't get the reaction he thought he'd get at the end of SummerSlam so he had some boring and long speech with a supposed goodbye to cheapen his way into getting the crowd behind him. If HHH wants to be seen as someone who doesn't have an ego, then let him actually stay on the sidelines for a while longer to give us what could be a great feud between Punk and Lesnar with Heyman backstabbing Punk. Punk vs Lesnar at WrestleMania would be a great match, imo.

Id be much more interested in seeing a Punk/Lesner match over the other rumoured Punk/Taker match.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Taker/Brock match, with the fact that Taker has never beaten Brock in a one on one match (to my knowledge) being used in the build up.

I am not interested in seeing taker and his ''streak'' at wrestlemania

What are some good questions to ask CM Punk? I'm afraid Ill say the wrong thing and piss him off.

Ask him when he's going to change that ****** WWE Championship belt, that he said would have been one of the first things he'd do. :oldrazz:
