It was interesting seeing Miz paired with R-Truth. I hope it does play into the bigger storyline. It's a shame they let the tag titles go to waste. They could easily do something like when Jerishow had their run with the belts.

Beth's turned heel :awesome:
seeing the weak pop the tag champs got, it wouldn't surprise me if those two get the belts

Crap, looks like I have to track this RAW down.

I was listening to the PWR radio show tonight and I couldn't help but laugh at the last caller trying to downplay HHH's ring skill. The dude is one of the best wrestlers of the past 20 years, and his run in 2000 might be the best year for any wrestler ever.

So Apparently Jericho isn't a Fan of Punk
RT @IAmJericho: Everyone is so excited that @CMPunk mentioned me on Raw. Newsflash...I don't give a ****. Mind ur own business and stop rippin me off Punk.

kinda strange since they used to communicate regularly on twitter, and punk said that Jericho was one of the guys he went to for help when he first came to the wwe.

Or maybe Jack Daniels hacked Jericho's account

Or Jericho was joking.

Chris Jericho caused quite a stir on Twitter last night, reacting negatively towards CM Punk mentioning his name on WWE Monday Night Raw. Jericho tweeted:

"Everyone is so excited that @CMPunk mentioned me on Raw. Newsflash...I don't give a ****. Mind ur own business and stop rippin me off Punk."

WrestleZone has learned exclusively from a key WWE insider that Jericho has been pitching for himself to work with Punk at WrestleMania next year. Additionally, we can confirm that this reaction is story line oriented, and that there is no real bad blood between Punk and Jericho following Raw tonight.

More on this story as it develops.

They're both probably laughing about this on the phone together as we type.

Also   to the thread title.

Jericho and Punk could have a great feud.

Maybe I missed something, but why is Zack Ryder popular??? He can't wrestle and his gimmick is lame. At least he lost.

They should do Jericho vs Punk at some point. But I'm not sure it should be at WM since thats begging for an HHH vs Punk match.

Hell of a way to kick off Raw. brilliant worked shoot. It actually felt like both guys were being honest but it worked well going into the story. Somebody tell Russo thats how you do it.

Loved how HHH shut Cena down by telling him "I'm your boss now stop calling me Hunter" This whole angle is probably the freshest thing I've seen done with HHH in years.

I totally skipped out on the Diva match. Glad to hear Beth won though.

I liked the pairing of Truth and Miz since they both have history with Morrison.

Del Rio looked good tonight but a feud with Kofi? *groan* Thats why I wish there were more good top midcard faces. Morrison was busy but he would have been great.

So is Johnny Ace a regular now. Its really just more stuff to play to the smart fans since the casual fans have no clue who Ace is but I guess they are going to teach them. Maybe Johnny Ace is the new "stooge" who ends up taking prat falls?

Cenas Johnny Ace impression isn't as good as Bubba Rays.

The end of Raw would have been great but I felt they overdid the dueling cheers between Punk and Cena. both guys doing it twice would have been enough.

Anybody else find it interesting that Cena threatened to punch Ace again?

Hate to say it but it sounded like the crowd was behind Cena more than Punk. Either way, it's a good build up to these 2 meeting.

And John's Ace impersonation was dead on. However his Vince needs a little work.

Ryder will be the one to end the Streak at WM..........just watch.......:o

if there is a Jericho/Punk feud.........would Jericho be the heel and Punk the face?

He rewired our brains by doing a cover of Aguilera's ''genie in a bottle'' and calling it ''broski in a bottle''.

This is how the Rock/Cena exchanges should have went on the pre-Mania Raw and post-Mania Raw.

Little kids and female screams just come off a bit to loud. Like I said, these people will need spoon fed that Punk is a face now.

The cheering/booing Wrestlers varies city by city, crowd by crowd. Raws crowd had more Cena last night. I know if they were wrestling in my city of London Punk would probably get louder cheers.

I still think Wade Barrett and Drew McIntyre should reform Empire from FCW or a similar British Stable with Mason Ryan. I don't think they should do the whole Le Resistance 'boo America' act though as its played out

McIntyre and Ryans career is on a downward spiral. Even though Barrett wants to be a singles wrestler I don't think he has good enough moves, intresting personality/character to be a solo wrestler.

McIntyer and Ryan suck so I'd rather they just go away.

Thanks for that. Been wanting to see it again. I agree. Punk-HHH comes off as more tense while Rock-Cena comes off as more juvenile and cartoonish most of the time. Most of that has to do with the silly insults they trade back and forth. Thats both their shtick, which is fun, but not enough for a clash of the generations ala Rock/Hogan.

I think eventually when the time draws closer to their actual match the exchanges between Rock and Cena will get more serious like the more serious exchanges between Rock and Hogan when came crunch time for their match.

Punk vs HHH does feel like a pressure building clash of eras and personalities. And the thing I love is that neither HHH or Punk were over scripted last night. It was obvious that these two were speaking with their own creative voices.

Punk vs. Triple H would be a better Wrestlemania 28 matchup. I'd prefer Punk vs. Jericho though for the Royal Rumble.

Also, I know that Stone Cold Steve Austin has neck issues and I know he has said he'd like one more match, but will he have that one more match? Somehow I doubt it.
