Not to mention Cena sells his offense well. Cena deviated from his usual Superman stuff and brought out the wrestler. He rarely does that unless against certain opponents.

I wonder if his selling based on his opponent is somehow communication to the back that he would like to work with the guy. For instance before Swagger got the belt for a spell he had a decent Raw match with Cena and Cena showed some vulnerability in his selling to make Swagger look legit.

It looks like that rumored match from before, but the replaced Kofi and Christian with Santino and Koslov. Bit of a downgrade. But it kinda makes sense with their history, at least.

It was the same last year, for me, with HBK vs Taker II. The video packages had more impact than the actual promos.
