I know this is the "reality" era, but just think about how big a surprise like this could be?

Even without the internet, there were fans in the 90s who knew when certain guys were wrestling their last match in a company, so you can't really stop that now, but (like someone mentioned earlier) I see why WWE would handle this like Marvel would.

I was the one who said that if the WWE was only "in negotiations" with the four, they would have gone the Marvel route and said nothing and then cited the Sting, Dudley Boys, Del Rio and Samoa Joe rumors as examples of the WWE not saying anything until they actually appeared in the WWE. Marvel has said nothing about Ryan Coogler, Cate Blanchett or even Marisa Tomei. They haven't even confirmed the Thor: Ragnarok director.

also, it's not like the WWE hasn't surprised us recently. As I remember it, there were rumors in Early 2015 that stated "The WWE has no interest in the Dudley Boyz" so when they returned to the WWE, I think it surprised everyone.

The thing is, those are easier secrets to keep. Sting can remain quiet, Samoa Joe can be quiet, but this is almost like the Radicals showing up at Raw and the WWE saying they're only there as fans.

It looks way too fishy and suspicious for 4 big name guys to just up and leave around the same time, with some hinting where they may be headed. This really seems like damage control. Someone spoke when they shouldn't have and the WWE is trying to contain it as best they can. I think they would have done the same had Sting tweeted that he was going to be at Raw before "signing" with the company.

do my ears deceive me??

AJ Styles could be headed to WWE??!!

I'm finishing up the last episode of MNW, and I gotta say, I really feel bad for WCW. Particularly the talent that was there till the end, and stuck around despite all the politics keeping them down. I'm just glad people like Booker, Mysterio and Eddie were able to find success.

Anybody watching ya know...IMPACT?

Announced sell out tonight, but think it's a bit comped tickets. Crowd is kinda into it but ROH has better crowds and better production.

What you thought about the Divas episode?

What you thought about the Divas episode?
It was the episode I paid least attention to, mostly because I never really cared for any of the "divas", or the way they were exploited and over sexualized by both companies. I think it was great of them to focus on the evolution of "divas" and how Trish and Lita changed the game for women in the business, but at the same time it was a stark reminder that it took nearly another 10 years for that to be consistent an donly now are we seeing a resurgence of true female talent.

if Gallows and Anderson are headed to WWE that means no more Bullet Babe (Amber O'Neal) at ringside

finally watching WK10, and great show as always

this Shibata vs Ishii match is my kind of fun

just hit each other until the other guy stops moving

It may be damage control, but also a smart move in the way they worded the article.

PWI says that none of the four have signed with WWE, which makes zero sense in light of the WWE.COM article.

Beer Money and Motor City Machine Guns were awesome back in the day.

sad that the closest Matt Hardy will ever come to a "world title" is the TNA World Title

I know it isn't legally possible but I want AJ Styles to come out to this:

Great start for TNA Impact on POP with the right man winning the World title, a new debut, and a rebirth of the tag team division.

So they want to do all these big things with Smackdown, get a new announcer, move it to a new network but tape the first episode? Why not do it live for once....?

Ok so how long before the muppet Kevin Dunn try's to sabotage the new Japan crew because of accents or not being home grown stars.

If they were on nxt I'd say never but straight to the main roster

Interesting that WWE retweeted a photo Finn Balor posted of the Bullet Club ....

Kevin Dunn needs to grow the f*** up. Disliking people because they have a different accent from your own is the kind of idiotic xenophobic thing a grown man should be embarrassed about.

I've never met a person in my life who hates anyone simply for having a different accent from their own. Sounds like the kind of dumb s*** that even inbred hicks would think is stupid.

While Becky Lynch can wrestle, she's so damn boring...

I'm not sure I like her character. The whole kooky chick thing is kind of irritating a little. I preferred her more serious 'lass kicker' submission specialist persona when she feuded with Sasha.
