I just thought of one other thing that infuriates me about last night (and actually, about the product in general) - I absolutely hate that the commentary team picks & chooses when to acknowledge the crowd. There will be times when JBL or Lawler will go, "This crowd is lovin' it!" or acknowledge a negative reaction to a heel, but when the reaction isn't the desired one (like last night) there is ZERO mention.

I understand why they wouldn't want to draw attention to Batista, Sheamus or Mysterio being booed, but you either have to be all in on something or not at all. It's conspicuous when they just try & ignore it, so why ever acknowledge the crowd in the first place if you're going to be selective about it? It's asinine.

Unlike other sportscasters, they have to call the action, while being fed substantive content on their audio sets, while having to watch what they say constantly in order not to damage a storyline. No other sports broadcast team has to deal with all that.
