This year's Royal Rumble is making me laugh.

The true standout is this Roman Reigns of the Shield and should have won. It's clear that a Shield breakout will eventually happen.

New Age Outlaws won the tag team titles again.

Triple H must be happy about tonight with his boys winning.

Oh I agree, I didn't want him to win this year, but I'd prefer him to Batista. I think a year from now he'd be a great RR winner.

I'm trying to understand when I woke up into a world where Batista was such a big star that he can come back to the wwe after four years and after two days win the royal rumble and main event wrestlemania, especially when there is a star in the company so popular that the arena shakes when he walks through the door. I kind of liked Batista when he was here last, but now I wish he never ever came back. He is NOT The Rock. Heck, even Rock didn't get a title match until two years after he first stepped back into the wwe. Batista just walks in and gets the main event of Wrestlemania? Who is he again? Seriously? Batista vs Orton? Heck, what the heck has Orton done in the past year to be the champ going into Wrestlemania? Out of all the top guys in the company, why is he getting the main event spot. Now Punk is stuck in a match he should have had two years ago, Cena is in a match that I think would have been better for Wrestlemania 31 or 32, Bryan is gonna be stuck wrestling Sheamus at Mania for a THIRD FREAKIN TIME, and we have to see a main event in Batista vs Orton that would have been proper for Wrestlemania EIGHT FREAKIN' YEARS AGO. I'm baffled. Absolutely baffled by this.

This is just my guess, but I'm assuming that this had something to do with how Batista got such a great deal...well this and his friendship with Triple H and Vince's obsession with muscular men.

Not the same situation. Vince in a way was understandable for why he did it considering the war with WCW at the time.

But this ignoring of Daniel Bryan? Oooh, that's horrible. A better comparison would be Katie Vick, which Vince himself said was high comedy and he liked it.

That's pretty much why I'm going to tune in, as well as to see where Punk vs Authority goes next.
