since I don't watch SD all that much....how is it determined if they are "fake" or not?

Not as bad and annoying as TNA..Especially last night's episode!!

If that was Vince with the Playgirl it would be a lot more accurate :cwink:

I feel very weird for posting this.

So are these like...feminized versions of the male wrestlers or female wrestlers with the guys gimmicks?

The art is good but its uh...creepy. REALLY creepy. Especially the one with Del Rio.

Slater already looks like a b****. Just a really ugly one.

I'd much rather see female wrestlers with the guys gimmick...like Daffney with CM Punks gimmick or Beth Phoenix as "The Narcissist" and other stuff like that.

And that includes the exact matching wrestling gear :awesome:

It's always the same exact same dubbed in crowd cheer. It's not like it's different cheers to cover it up, every time that particular one is used I'm like:doh:

They never do it during matches, just for promos.
Like this part of Smackdown this week

When you hear thunderous ovation and see all the people in the audience sitting on their hands, falling asleep, scratching their ass, etc. that should give you a pretty good idea.

Plus...are you really gonna believe Heath Slater or Drew McIntyre get a whole lot of cheers?

From the vault!
Ugh, if I wanted to see an old match, I'd buy, download or YT it.

Dang, finished another thread already? Been having some serious debates this week. :funny:

More piping done on Smackdown than in Sunnys vagina.

When the Sin Cara match was redone 3 times. How do the crowd take it? How is the idea presented to them 3 times? Are people not confused as to why they're seeing Slater 3 times in a row? How does a re-take of a match work?

New thread name:

The WWE Universe doesn't know that there's a Wrestling Thread.

Thats actually a REALLY good question.

I've often wondered that same thing when Impact or Smackdown has to redo a segment or match. It kind of has to kill the momentum of the show AND the suspension of disbelief dead in its tracks if its not done very cleverly doesn't it?

I'd imagine they may have the two matches be connected somehow live. Like the loser asks for a rematch then they clean it up in editing/post and make it seem like only one match ever took place.

I'm guessing that's how they must do it. The Slater match was hardly two minutes. They must of cut some stuff out.

That many restarts and it was still only two minutes?

There did seem to be a couple of odd edits in the Sin Cara/Slater match. I can't believe they are still using that lame overhead filtered lighting.

Like i said earlier Hunico is ok as Sin Cara but he doesn't really do anything that guys like Bourne or Kidd can't do. In some cases there are things they can do better.

Loved that recap with Cody from last week. The guy is just really into the role.

How was Bret at the start of the show? I totally missed that.

Cole had a shining moment on SD when he said it had been known all week that Bret would be the special guest GM while correcting Booker. Even though it was only announced on WWE.com after the tapings on Tuesday, Cole remembered to sell the fact they are on air Friday.

Great match between Bryan and Christian but this losing streak is a bad idea unless they turn a corner with it soon.

I really hope they are setting up a Rhodes/Orton feud, Cody's work is so good, if it weren't for Punk and Cena he'd be getting more credit.

Kelly works a solid singles match these days, with lots of confidence. She is poor in tags though a she lacks the timing to do the back to back moves offense the hot tag sequence requires.

Big Zeke torture racking Khali was impressive.

Henry vs Sheamus is good old fashioned stuff, but Sheamus "stories from the old country" routine is not gonna get him over as a face IMO.

This Divas match is terrible.:o

But I'm not telling you something you don't know already.

Kelly slapping Tamina on the butt...just proves Beth and Nattie right. Just who do they want the fans agree with in this whole thing?

It also makes me wonder with all the Barbie stuff if they just didn't take some of their ideas from the Kharma storyline and transplant it to Beth and Natalya's new gimmick?

Also funny as hell that Kelly Kellys real name IS Barbie!
