The Zodiac killer's identity revealed?

Same here. Would be nice if it was this guy though. Finally close the damn case.

Ohh and to think, everyone who told me to see it, said that it was dead on accurate. That's the only reason why I wanted to watch it, otherwise I would have passed. Movies that claim to be "true stories" don't appeal to me much for the simple reason of them being innaccurate due to..well Hollywood Studios wanting to make it more cinematic.

Ya, I've become very skeptical of the "based on a true story" tag. Like Texas Chainsaw Massacre, I heard it was based on a true story, and I remember wondering if there really was a real life Leatherface (btw I'm talking about watching the original as a kid on VHS).

As for the topic, I'll be interested in the results as well. I heard of the Zodiac killer before the movie, but the movie was the first time I fully understood what it was about. Since it was something that happened before my time I didn't pay attention to it, but I must admit I'm curious about it now. It sounds like they've found some compelling evidence.

Yes, the Chainsaw massacre was based on a true story. I don't remember much about it, other than the fact that the guy made coats out of his victims skins.

Wow, this is really shocking. If this turns out to be true, this could be very amazing.

well it was really based on one guy, Ed Gein, and he didnt go out in a mask and chainsaw. He kept body parts as trophy and made necklaces from nipples, and other sick S**t like that

He wasn't all bad....

He was into recycling.

I read about it over /film. I love how their article reads:
While going through his late stepfather’s belongings, Kaufman discovered a number of incriminating items, including a knife covered with what could be blood, a black hood with a zodiac on it (which conceivably could have been used in the 1968 Lake Berryessa murder) as well as rolls of film, at least one of which contained gruesome images that “appeared to be people who were murdered,” according to Kaufman.

This sounds very similar to the guy who claimed he had evidence that his late father killed the black dahlia?

The only thing that keeps me on "Lee" is the timeline of both Zodiac and Allen.

Same here. It strange though he has the costume, film, the picture comparsion look so much like him

I think Jack Tarrance maybe the Zodiac

I finally saw the movie though like last week and after that it got me interested in the Zodiac.

This is all to right

if it truly is this guy...then

Zodiac Owned everyone

I just think it is cool he has the same name as the dude from the Shining.

The film definitely got me interested in the Zodiac and hell, if this really is him...it'd be sweet

This guy could just be a copycat and the real zodiac was that extra little inspiration he needed to go about killing people.

Those are small errors compared to other biopics. The biggest error is the convos between Avery and Graysmith. Some events take place before others (common in movies like these) and some evidence is all mishmashed, but for the most part its accurate. The above link is just looking for the smallest things to complain about.

That is so creepy. If its true I feel so sorry for that guy...finding out your stepfather murdered a whole bunch of people...ouch!
I would be so scared if I found that black Zodiac costume, even though he was old...that has to be one of the creepiest costumes ever....seriously I give the Zodiac killer props for that, he made a really scary looking costume

What's scary about it is the oddness of the design; I think it'd be way less scary if the head weren't so boxy.
