There should be an anime Trek series

there should be an anime-based Star Trek series, and it can feature an all new crew of characters and have lots of differing storylines, and of course there can be all sorts of creatures created and stunts done that can't be done in live action or would be too expensive.

an all new crew would be best, but I'd accept the TOS crew in some new adventures, adapt some of the existing novels written by various people.
