Marvel should develop a Storm solo prequel film, since they're giving Wolverine one..

the Storm prequel could be based on the "STORM" miniseries/Graphic Novel, which tells Storm's origin story, and also involves T'Challa, who will eventually become the Black Panther..

they could cast relative unknowns in the lead roles, since they'd be young teens.. they could bookend the film with cameos by Halle Berry..

One thing is for sure, Halle Berry will not want to do a solo Storm movie. She's already said that after her experience with Catwoman, and the canned Jinx idea, she doesn't want to do those sort of movies again.

Although she does want Storm for X4... so I guess she could cameo in a prequel movie. But I don't see such a film being made anyway.

I would love to see a Storm movie, but I honestly don't think they would handle it correctly. I wouldn't be surprised if they had approached Halle about it before, though.

It would turn out to be another Elektra...or worse. Somehow, besides Kill Bill, I can't remember any sucessful films led only by a single woman. Unfortunately, but they usually don't work, either because most of the plots suck (since 99% of the scripts are written by us, men, anyways) or everything else sucks.

Right now, I see a Storm prequel spin-off going the way of Catwoman and Elektra.

doesnt matter if its the most respectable Women super hero, it will never make money and it will suck

Eh. There's a good and right way to make women superhero films work. Just the people behind them so far have SUCKED.

On the topic of a Storm film? As much as I love her. There's no need for one. You can just touch on her history in a reboot (preferably) or in X4 (if we must).

Storm just might be Marvel's most popular female character. All debatable, but the only one even close to her range in popularity that's a female in Marvel would probably be Invisible Woman.

True dat. I'm not saying coz I'm a Storm fan, but this is actually true. Arguably, the most popular female character in Marvel is Storm. I mean, during random polls, and that toptens site, also with random interviews and such, Storm has surely come up on top most of the time than Invisible Woman. In the toptens site alone, Storm managed to make the top 10 Top Superheroes of All Time and Top Marvel Characters, and IIRC, she's the only female, or maybe for the former I missed out Wonder Woman. But really, she's pretty popular. The only thing that is hindering some kind of spin off sequel for this is that all her character existence, she has never been developed as a solo character unlike Logan. Yes, she's massively popular, international-wise too, believe me I know, but she's just limited to being in a very popular Marvel team.

But if there's going to be a major spin-off, I hope it's not Halle Berry. Or if it's going to be her, I hope she would at least bring the Storm in the comics, and not some random chick she's researched while serving burgers at Burger King.

Don't waste time and energy on "Storm: the Prequel" when it could be used for X-Men 4!!!!!

Now that you say that... wouldn't it be nice that one of the X4 plots involved Africa, Storm's earh?

I'd love to see the x-men going to a place in another country, a diferent kind of place, not the the school all the time, or a base like X2.... I'd love some travel for the Xmen...

I agree. I really did not like Elektra. It was too much drama and not enough action! And I think they could have cast someone better for Elektra. As for Catwoman, I didn't see that movie, never wanted too, and probably never will.

I hope they do NOT develop a Storm prequel film. I'd much rather see a movie about Ms Marvel actually though I don't know if that would fare well either.

No, they shouldn't.

Why, cause it's certainly a chance that Marvel's number one female character has a chance at a successful movie. Although I don't anyone has the ability to write one. Cause any God would know that the start of a turd begins at the anus not the actress who portrays the part. I hate to break it to you, but people have long moved on from Catwoman, and the general public forgives easily.

Ms. Marvel doesn't have the fan base, demographic, nor the iconic cult status for a movie. Perhaps Marvel Studios, but they have Iron Man, Avengers, Capt America, Black Panther, Deadpool all in the works.

Edit: @ Logan's Lady, Have you seen the Avenger's line up lately? :D

Because with how Fox treated the X-Men movies and the Fantastic FOur movies, I don't want them making anymore Marvel comic movies. Plus out of all the characters in the X-Movies, Storm is one of the least interesting.
And even if Halle Berry wasn't playing Storm, it shouldn't be made.

Well, no **** Sherlock. She's the least intresting because out of all the Adults and supporting characters, she had the LEAST written about her. No past, no consistent ideology, not powers that actually involved being an ecopath, nothing outside of being a fog machine, a thermostat, and a babysitter.

Of course that's not interesting.

I don't want a Storm movie either. I don't want an X4. What I wanted was a proper X1-X3 that showed the characters being.... the XMEN:cmad:

One or two good scenes for one or two characters does not make up for three films wasting my time.

:wow: There's a Deadpool movie in the works?
