They should have got John Beard!

For those of you know, which I'm sure is probably most of you, the news anchor in the latest trailer is Hal Fishman, who really is a news anchor. And for everyone who watched the 90's Spidey animated series on FOX remember the news reported on TV was done by John Beard, who is also a real news anchor on FOX news (I'm just pointing all this out because as far as I know they only do the news here in LA, I'm not sure if they're known across the country). Well anyways, I'm just pointing out the fact that it would have been cool if John Beard was casted as the news anchor in SM3 since it would be referencing the animated series. Anyone else agree?

i agree with you, in spidey1 the guy who did the voice for spiderman in the 1960s show was on the balcany when the green goblin threw the bomb and the balcany blew up, he was the one who fell, i think it would be a great idea.

He's not that Fox News, John Beard is from Fox Eleven News, local affiliate in LA. I dont think he has anything more to do with the 24 hour channel than the Simpsons does.
When I was a kid always thought it was funny that his name is beard, yet he only had moustache. t:

John Beard was the news anchor on Arrested Development. And there was one episode where he was eating in a restaurant when something went down, and he gets up and walks out cuz he "cant be part of the story". John Beard's awesome.

ugh you're probably confusing that w/ the FOX NEWS channel.

Fox/CNN are pretty decent representations, FOX being moderatly conservative and CNN being moderatly liberal.

hey, so, i noticed this was related to john beard...
my uncle is best friends with him, they used to anchor together, haha.
