Things to be cheerful for in 2025

Hi all.

Almost a new year and I definitely get the feeling lots of people are feeling worried about it so let’s share things we’re looking forward to. It won’t all be great but as usual if we focus on as much good as possible we’ll be ok.

Ok, so I’m really looking forward to the new Superman and fantastic four movie of course. And I’m hoping to go on my honeymoon soon too!

My life has been on the up-turn since 2019 and that year changed my life for the best it's ever been and continues to be, each & every day.

On that trajectory though, 2025 has proved to be the culmination (so far, life is ever evolving of course), my partner and I have moved in together after being together since 2019, got amazing new job (dream job) and life is peaceful, something which prior to my partner, wasn't hugely in abundance in my life.

2025 thus far in all the aspects it has 'given me' thus far, it has been the best year so far.

Wow. Nice to know things are going well for someone out there. It's been a roller-coaster for me since January. Nice to hear something good for a change.

getting a raise in June.

my dad finally qualifying for 100% veteran's disability so we can finally breathe a little. maybe i can finally pull myself out of debt and fix my credit since taking care of him has killed my credit, savings, etc. i'd do it all again though
