I don't understand the big issue with the lag, I think it's better in a way. It gives the youngins more time to actually think about what they are going to post and maybe refrain from making themselves appear foolish... or even more so...

No gif animations for avatars just a jpg file.
No sigs.
Try and slim down the number of forums.

At this point the best option seems to be starting the Hype again from scratch since everything they are doing is not be working. If they are even doing anything at all for that matter.

I haven't visited SHH for weeks, now it is on a tolerable level of lagness. Still slow compared to other forum sites. I always make a habit, everytime I post something lengthy, I'd copy it into a notepad before clicking Submit Reply. Most of the time, my post didn't get through and I had to retype my forgotten thoughts. Poof...

Its odd because the lag is HUGE when I first try and load the site. It could take minutes, and I have high speed cable. Once I get on the site, the lag seems to lessen for a bit, with the occasional chunk of lag here and there.
