This Is War

My initial guess is that it's less of a crossover and more of a Dark Reign kind of deal. It would be way too soon for another crossover.

Maybe this is the Reckoning War that Slott has been building up since forever. It would make sense if since it's being announced at the Spider-Man panel.

So they go from Avengers vs. X-Men into some kind of universe-wide, long-term war status quo? That'd be weird. I could see it pissing off a lot of creators, too. There's really no way to write around a big, fat war plot in the middle of your book.

But hey, they shoe-horned the Initiative into everything and that was a pretty large change in the status quo so it's not like its not possible.

If it's in the Amazing Spider-Man panel it's probably just because its a Steve Whacker edited thing.

Ultron War would make sense, its been teased long enough

Oh, right, that thing's still rattling around somewhere down the line. :csad:

Civil War 2

Someone has been stealing other people's lunch out of the Avenger's Mansion fridge.

Maybe, as CTOAN suggested, Stephen Wacker's editing it. Or maybe Ultron decides he really needs to kill Spider-Man first and foremost.

The way things have been going, we're do for a clash between Wolverine and Iron Man that splits the entire Marvel Universe in twain.

Or if not them, something more interesting, like Elektra vs. Howard the Duck.

Pete is on his last leg with the Horizon job though.

Mayor JJJ is trying to boot them from NYC and Pete just found out that Ock stole all of his tech created at Horizon and used it for his own evil intentions.

Avengers have fought each other, the X-men (mutant race), the Phoenix, the Skrulls...so who haven't they fought? I see a psychotic skull wear vigilante in their future.

That'd be a very, very short fight.

The Avengers should all fight Spider-Man. Iron Man should be all, "F*** you, Peter, you're off the team!" and Peter should be all, "MAKE ME!" and Iron Man'd be all, "FINE!" and then the Avengers kill Spider-Man 'til he's dead.

Why are you picking on Spidey for? Leave him alone you big jerk! :o

There's a new teaser up featuring everyone's least favorite ass clown, Spider-Man:

Features Doc Ock's arm, so now I'm wondering if maybe Spider-Man's rogues, or some new Sinister Six, declares war on the heroes for aiding their hated foe Spider-Man. Although, even then, Spider-Man's rogues aren't really too powerful. That'd be almost as short as the fight against the Punisher.

He likes Thor... 'nuff said...

:yay:

He left out the part where Thor is the first Avenger to go after Spider-Man only to get his ass handed to him by Carlie Cooper, who has her Spider-Island powers mysteriously come back, long enough for her to kick the Odinson's ass (just like everybody else does lately). :oldrazz::oldrazz::oldrazz::oldrazz:

Yeah, whatever, guy. Thor's having a bit of a rough patch, very funny. I'm guessing it'll be over before, oh, 20 years or so, unlike that 'rough patch' I like to call roughly a third of Spider-Man's existence. :awesome:

Why don't the Avengers just send Spider-man to defeat the X-Men? I mean he's done it before. :p

:spidey: :spidey: :spidey:
