This May Be Your Show, But This Is MY Wrestling Thread! - Part 242

I am one of those who have always questioned Cena's booking, but never his talent or his passion and desire to be in the WWE, which was why I had no problems with him beating AJ or his two week title reign. Cena has a lot of good will from me for putting AJ over clean at Summerslam 2016. The Cena vs. Orton feud is boring because of Orton and not Cena.

I've heard a saying going around "The idea of a Randy Orton match is always better than the match itself". I find that to be true.

If marks didn't have the RKO spots to pop for I don't think Randy Orton would be anywhere near as popular as he is.

Say what you will about Cena but he delivers in big matches. Orton can be boring and mechanical in the ring at times.

Orton has lost a lot of his fire in the recent years, which i assume is due to him being often injured.
So he adapted a very "mechanical" wrestling style, his moveset is lackluster compared to when he started.

Cena on its own never was the problem, he can pull off good matches and is quite enjoyable once in a while...as with reigns, it is the booking that always stood in cenas way.
He never really evolved his style and his character after he reached a certain point, but that wasnt a problem as much as the way the wwe portrait him.

Orton as champion on smackdown is simply boring, which makes me even madder that they decided to sacrifice a actual interesting character for it(Wyatt).

The WWE Title needs AJ Styles right now. It's amazing how popular he is.

I'm sure Bray has been on Talking Smack a couple of times- once being 'normal' when he announced the Luke Harper vs Orton family intervention match- you know the one which Harper lost and Bray gave him a Sister Abigail.

The other was pretty good where the entire family came on with all the smoke and mirrors when they just appeared to announce something- I can't remember what- may be it was during their Tag title run.

Orton looks bored all the time to be honest.

They need to get the title off him and onto KO asap so AJ and him can feud for it.

Wasnt that unexpected, it would have surprised me more if he would have been completely fine.
The Elbow/Forearm looked very dangerous.

I hope he recovers fast and this doesnt impact his run negativly.

That was all on Jinder. That was ridiculous.

I can't stand it when wrestlers injure each other with striking moves; it took me a long time to forgive Goldberg for ending Bret Hart's career. It seems like something they should teach you on day one.

Yes it's something that is taught early on, but It's just something that happens sometimes. There have been seasoned veterans that have accidentally hit their opponents with a legit strike.

AJ Styles going after the US Title is just filler until Orton and Wyatt are finished. Of course, they could always do an Orton-KO feud for the championship, which would suck.

Balor diagnosed with a concussion.

I'm not too surprised. As soon as I saw the playback of Of Jinder hitting him I knew Balor probably got a concussion off of it.

It was an incredibly stiff forearm.

Jinder needs to lay off the juice.

That's totally uncalled for man. Too far. I'll let you know later when I've decided whether you're insulting Roman or Brady.

Yes... I'm still wondering how Nakamura's still allowed to wrestle after what he did to Austin Aries!:halo:

I wonder if the original plan was for Sasha Banks to jump to Smackdown and it was changed either immediately before or during the show.

She's got posted a ton of backstage pictures with Smackdown superstars since last night.
