This serioruly can't be it for dick grayson in the future!. I haven't read the dark knight strikes again before, but I have read the dark knight returns, anyway since I heard that TDKSA wasn't as good as TDKR I chose to read the summary on wikipedia. It says that dick grayson may have wanted or may have had a sexual relationship with batman.

Now I am not gonna argue that that is way too wrong but it also says batman kills grayson in the end, so I looked up for some scans and what I find is that he not only kills grayson but also says to him that he was always useless, that he "couldn't cut the butter", he didn't had the "chops" and ditches him as if he didn't cared for him at all. I mean c'mon he was his aid in his war on crime!, if this is gonna happen in the all star book in the future (obviously a 1000 years or so later in our life time) it better be for a damn good hell of an explanation.

I know all star is an alternate universe story, but apparently this is meant to happen since it's in same continuity as TDKR and TDKSA.

ASB, DKR and DKSA are all "Miller continuity" not official DC.

I do know that but still it pissed me a lot to see the way grayson ended up and how batman treated him.

Well that's Miller. DKR and YO are great, but his other Batman stuff is crap.

And even DKR is a serious adjustment to Batman's character. I feel that Miller was just trying to portray fantasy in a more realistic manner. A 12 year old whose parents brains where blown on his feet, was then kidnapped by a psychopath and raised to fight crime by this same abusive freak, could easily turn out psychologically as Dick Grayson was portrayed in DKSA. That being said, I think it's stupid. This is fantasy and Dick Grayson is a hero and portraying him as such shouldn’t be an issue in fantasy.

I'm officially not liking miller right now.

I can deal with anything in DKSA except for the lame Robin ending and the horrific coloring.

Miller was just stating his own opinion on the character. You either love what he has to say, or hate it. There's no middle ground with him.

What Miller did is no worse that what Bruce Jones is doing in his current Nightwing run...

At least that has Jason Todd octopus monster.

Yes, there is. With me, at least. I liked DKSA, mostly...except for that goddamn ending.
