Thoughts on the Super 'stache?

I reckon they should keep it. I like the idea of superman going for a Gandalf the grey thing except instead of changing colours every time he dies he just comes back with a slightly different 'do

Well movie wise they likely aren't shooting enough to justify Superman having a stache.

Personally I think in all the depictions of Superman with facial hair, he just looks better with it.

Throwing a beard. With computers these days, I wouldn't be surprised if it would be easier to just add a CGI beard rather than to have to realistically map Cavill's upper lip texture for minutes at a time. Plus a funny looking beard isn't as bad as a weird looking upper lip

The lord of the rings used wigs and beards the whole show and looked great.

My guess is that the shots are not close up or diologue heavy and he needs to go right back to MI or back and fourth?

I think Paramount, rightfully so, is not letting another studio's problem affect their movie. It's petty I guess, but WB had their chance to shoot JL with Henry Cavill, now it's Paramount's turn.

We will never see Cavill's face in Mission Impossible 6. Every scene with him will be a super imposed close up of his upper lip.
