Thanks... I hope one day you'll get a chance to read it and tell me what you think. I went easy on the intimate parts but other than that, I think I got everything else down pact. I guess I could always send a copy of it through email.

Did the front page look really ugly and naked to anyone else that tried to go on it just now?

Yup, been like that for me for awhile. Though I used another friend's comp and it was fine. Soooo not sure.

Yep, the Community's flocking with... newbies! :wow:

I consider '08ers newbies, though. :o

You so hipster.

I believe in faith... but not religion.

I was raised devout catholic. Went to catholic school and everything. Realize now that it's all a bunch of fairy tales and ********. Organized religion exists to control people and give people an excuse to exercise their hatred of other people. I'd much rather listen to logic and reason than a bunch of stories that are so clearly not even a little bit based in reality and told not to question anything or try to educate yourself. Just blindly believe. :whatever:

If Jesus said I was going to Hell I would say "Yeah, not as evil as a few historic figures, but whatever. It's not like Hell has Superman 64 down there..."

I also refuse to believe that an all powerful, merciful, loving creator of the universe would create all of this world and all of these people just to torture them for the rest of eternity. The whole idea of a god creating a people and punishing them FOR ALL OF ETERNITY if they don't believe in him even though all he gives them to go on is stories written down thousands of years ago and passed on through word of mouth and, again, the stories aren't even a little based in any kind of reality their familiar with is just ludicrous. That kind of personality describes an arrogant, narcissistic 10 year old. Not a loving, merciful god.

I fully believe in a higher power, I just don't know what it is exactly. I certainly don't believe in what most religions describe as god. And I certainly don't believe in hell.

Get a hold of yourselves everyone, return to the ketchup on the pizza

By the way, don't be grumpy and cynical, that goes back with the safety of my precious little friends minds

My coworker had an interesting spin on it. He grew up with very devoutly religious people, but it always rubbed him the wrong way. He think it's more fascist than Nazism. I mean, Hitler could say you were a bad person and send you to a concentration camp and gas you, but even Hitler couldn't threaten to burn you in hell for all eternity. God, according to many strict religions, is more fascist than Hitler. :o

He's a bit strange though. He refuses to watch superhero movies anymore, since he thinks they're all fascist. :funny: (He didn't even like Taxi Driver for the same reason.) Which you do have to admit is partly true, but we're at least trying to convince him to watch TDK since it's legitimately a good movie by the guy who did Memento, which he liked. :funny:

I really loved Memento. Great story, acting and score, but I really like the cinematography. I'm no film major, so I can't really analyse it and sound smart, but there's something so dream-like about the washed out colors they choose (even down to Guy Pearce dying his hair blonde). The movie just oozes style.

Plus, Joey Pants. C'mon.

and I'm sure Bamfer doesn't miss you...or any of us.

Where did Bamfer go? He got banned didn't he? I blame thread manager thing. And Dog Lips.
