The turtles before even being mutated and growing have these colored stripes on their back. Do you think they got their colors from the lab where they perhaps were marked with a color to keep them separated? And they stick to their own colors when they grow up?

Pretty certain that's the case. If you look closely at the footage we've seen, they have the same color splotches on their shells as adults.

yeah I might have to buy this twice if they do a steelbook....I'd like to get the crappy figurines and reversible masks just for collectors sake. I can't see myself paying $80 though for the movie and statue even though I want it so bad

Its looks cool tho just not worth 80$ a figure that's 6" would pay 30$ Tops.

I agree...not unless it has multiple discs and special features and junk like that that could possibly justify the spending of $80

Yes! These statues look so awesome, and I was hoping we would get some sort of collectible figure other than those horrible toys. Definitely gonna pick up Donatello.
