I was not notified why it was shut down or if I should leave the subject alone I had a post I was working on when it was closed that responds to a few last concerns am I SOL in terms of resolving them or??

Mods dont have to notify you if they close/delete a thread.

I don't know which one it was. I was writing my post then my computer went down I managed to recover the post then I saved it in word just in case. By the time I finished and hit post the thread was closed

If it was shut down that's a pretty clear indication the mod feels the conversation should end. If you're really despesperate for whoever you were chatting with the hear whatever youre next post was going to be, you can feel free to take the conversation to Private Messages, that's your business so long as we don't get complaints from users that you're harassing them with PMs
