hey they did this in the cartoon as well the first episode or second where pete gets the symbiote he goes up to flash and says" i've got more than a backbone" or smething like that than he walks slowly away then does a cartwheel( however you spell it) and then flips backwards and continues walking. then in the next episode of the cartoon spidey starts losing control and getting angrier and finds out the suit is taking over him which is probably whats going to happen in the movie.

Exactly, I think it's going to work well on screen. And Raimi did mention that we're going to see a different Peter and an angry Peter. You see, this to me is where the cartoon is actually better than the comics, by making the symbiote suit effect one's mind, slowly changing one who has a will to try and fight it, into someone evil. Very much like a drug, you feel good at first, then you slowly slip into hell. With Eddie Brock, he won't have the will to fight the symbiote, he'll just embrace it because of his anger. People don't get that Peter is not suppose to look like Peter, act like Peter or feel like Peter, that's the point.

This scene looks great. I thought it was extremely cheesy in the animated series (don't get me wrong, it was cool, but it wouldn't work well in a movie with quotes like "A double-cross? Big surprise!"). Sure, his temper and jerk factor should go up, but not in stupid ways. I think this is a good way to show how it's going to his head before everything starts crashing around him. It makes him feel good, it makes him stronger, the suit looks perfect....THEN it shows his life spiraling down.

actually, emo was a genre of music back in the late 80s and early 90s when certain bands would get so into the music, they'd have EMOtional breakdowns during songs.

people now consider the punk "scene" to be emo, and people are now considered emo themselves based on their hair/clothes style, though that's not possible, since emo is a type of music, not style.

it's a very common misconception. but who cares.

Emo means you dress like a girl, listen to bad music, and like to whine about how depressed you are. At least, that's the meaning it's taken on in recent years.
