Tom Hooper to direct movie of Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Cats'

Look I appreciate the bringing issues that the government and society were ignoring at the time to the spotlight, but I just find the initial plot of two starving artists who feel entitled that they don't have to *gasp* pay rent to be in it. I do like the songs.

No, I hear you, the lead characters in that show are cloying, pretentious and unlikeable, like the guys with blonde dreadlocks who try to explain discrimination to me. Rent was ahead of its time, in terms of foreshadowing hipsters and spoiled millennials. The only time in my life I cheered for the opportunistic infections. :o

Are we getting another trailer for this or are they only releasing one?

Sweet, I need some new nightmares. My usual ones aren’t even scary anymore.

Can't say I really feel for the Taylor Swift and Andrew Lloyd Weber collaboration. It's more "Spoken word" than what I was expecting.

I was expecting something more traditional with a hook and repeated lyric that would be catchy and Oscar bait.

That said, it's a film based on a book of poems, I shouldn't be that surprised that the direction they take with their original song is more of a poem....

So they’re avoiding showing any hint of singing this time around ?

That James Corden scene at the end... ugh.

I mean if they had just went full Avatar and not had the faces be human I'd be a lot less repulsed. I do admit I find cat Taylor Swift hotter than human Taylor Swift.

:o

I'm still kind of intrigued and will probably see this. Looks like Macavity has been given more to do/is more of a presence?

I will be there opening day for this disaster.

I don't understand the size of these cats. Compared to the human things around them, they look like they're the size of mice. Are their owners giants?

Wow, that sucks even harder, then the first trailer...and I usually love musicals

Surely it makes most sense for me to go see this movie on Christmas day. Not Star Wars again or Little Women with my beloved Saorirse and Emma. :o
