Has there been news on this lately. I think this could turn out to be a really good flick. I know scott said he would use a combination of old gangs from the film and real gangs. My only problem with the first one is the bloodless fights and no asian gangs.

I'm kinda weary about a classic like this being remade, but Tony Scott is a very good director, so I think it has a fighting chance to be good.

I just hope that he doesn't try to make it too real--one of the best parts of the movie is the cheesiness of it.
