My favorite albums that I've bought this year are Stadium Arcadium (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and Sam's Town (The Killers).:csad:

The only album from this year I got this year was "Highway Companion" by Tom Petty, which is one hell of a good listening experience.

Highway Companion was okay...not Petty's best though, and that Saving Grace song grates my nerves for some reason:o

Is the death of hip hop among us?
As long as there are clubs, black people, and posers hip hop will never die.

So, in other words, next years list will be ten times more horrid?
What are you smokin. I can see if he didn't say Jay-Z and Beyonce, but you're being crazy with that statement. And Ludacris and 50 are still good, just not top ten list material(atleast not since 50's first album.)

I enjoyed it. And I can't help but rock out to "Saving Grace". It's an ass-kicker as far as I'm concerned. It's good drivin' music.

DragonForce

They call themselves "Extreme Power Metal" and also "Video Game Music".

Live version of My Spirit Will Go On

Video for Through the Fire and Flames

Video for Operation Ground and Pound

One of the guitarists, Herman Li, is self taught while the other guitarist, Sam Totman is a classically trained guitarist and had formal musical training when he was 9.

Addendum speaks the truth for Dragonforce is a constant stream of awesome. But there can be only ONE!

His first C-D and movie soundtrack were great. More his first C-D than the movie soundtrack. Everything else he did was garbage though.

The problem is that the people that listen to all the indie underground stuff tend to bootleg or download songs without paying, so it's like their vote doesn't count as far as what's deemed the best by mainstream. Even musicians have to eat. That starving artist **** doesn't fly like it did in the 70's and 80's.

I knew High School Musical was popular but...DAMN! It was a great year for Disney, huh?

The Evolution Of Robin Thicke should be there.

Anyway, Nickelback is #3???

That goes double for the people who listen to rap. Alot of their C-Ds are sold bootleg infront of the cops even.

so....yeah, how about some good music that came out this year.
