Top 10 dangerous cities in america according fbi

I was wondering about Atlanta and looked up some data. It's at 700 per 100,000. About half of Cleveland at number 10.

I'm pleasantly surprised.

Cleveland must be still be salty with Lebron leaving lol

Having those three women held captive for over a decade doesn't help their image either.

See the problem with lists such as these is that there are a lot of cities that are really spotty in fully reporting crimes to the section of the FBI that keeps track of such things. Notably St. Louis began climbing these lists not long after the relationship between the police force and the FBI was restructured.

Oh, Oakland... you are like the pre-Batman Gotham City of the Bay Area.

I am SO grateful and fortunate being able to live in Santa Barbara!

If you have to live in the states, Santa Barbara is PARADISE!!!

2. Detroit, Mich. > Violent crimes per 100,000: 2,122.6 > Population: 707,096 > 2012 murders: 386 > Poverty rate: 40.9% > Pct. of adults with high school degree: 77.4%

Because of all the Juggalos :whatever:

I live about 30 minutes south of Cleveland, and let me tell you... Nobody appreciates how bad it really is. Some areas are as post-apocalyptic as Cormac McCarthy's The Road.

So basically the cities with a lot of black people. :o

Compared the Canadian statistics to Cleveland's.

84 Murders in Cleveland 2012.
6 Murders in Red Deer 2011.

I expected these numbers to be closer... and for the murders numbers for Toronto to be highest.

Oakland...and stockton "YAY AREA"
I knew stockton was bad..but damn

Oh, Oakland... you are like the pre-Batman Gotham City of the Bay Area.

We need a superhero thats for sure. Lived here most of my life its getting worse n worse

Sad thing though, if there was a real superhero or vigilante trying to help stop crime, you can bet your bottom dollar that the law will do everything they can to stop the vigilante instead of focusing on the violent criminals. Law don't like it when normal citizens steal their thunder.

Yup just look at the Atlanta security guard

Yeah, Oakland and Stockton deserve to be on that list. Not sure about the numbers but Richmond is really bad as well.
