I thought, this time I will make this throughout the year with everyone else and see the list evolve; rather than just posting one at the end. Let's see if this year can match the brilliance that was 2022. My top three of Everything Everywhere All At Once, Aftersun and After Yang ended up being some of my most favourite movies ever.

So, coming to 2023, admittedly I haven't seen much yet but these are the few that stood out to me:

1 .John Wick: Chapter 4. (Mission Impossible has a tall bar to climb later this year)
2. Creed III.
3. Knock at the Cabin. (Ben Aldridge is amazing, he needs to be more things. I absolutely hated the ending though.)
4. Antman and the Wasp: Quantumania.

The big three that I want to see this year are; How Do You Live, Oppenheimer and Dune 2. Oh and Past Lives, out of Sundance. The buzz is great with this one and based on the trailer, I think I will definitely love it.

Past Lives has the potential to be a big hit and get some awards recognition. Can't wait.

These are the ones i have seen so far. John Wick Chapter 4 is one of the best actions films ever made. In regards to the rest of 2023, I think The Flash, M:I DR pt 1 and Oppenheimer are gonna be massive and end up in my top 5 easily. Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny as well. Dial of Destiny is the film that I think will surprise most people and exceed expectations to become one of the best reviewed films of the year. Mark my words and never doubt James Mangold.
