Well, Sci-Fi are showing it Friday at 7:00, though because they're showing both the Runaway Bride and Smith and Jones it'll go 'til about 9:30. Still, DW is marketed to kids and family in the UK but sci-fi geeks in the US. It's shown on a channel I've never seen a kid watch. RTD is primarily concerned with the UK audience because he knows how xenophobic foregin audiences can be (if a show is successful in the UK, 90% of the time, it'll be remade. We're lucky they're showing RTD's version of DW at all...

Well it would be hard to remake a show with a 40+ year history and it not fail.
 
Yeah but Doctor Who is essentially British, it would not work, you americans tried it in 1996 with the Paul Mcgann TV movie and it failed.
