what would you guys change about the list?

I thought T2 would have been higher. I wanted to ***** about The Matrix being the #1 choice and call it overrated, but that would have just been my contempt for the ****ty sequels talking. It was still pretty damn amazing.

I hate the new BSG. I know I'm being a fanboy for saying this, but I honestly don't think the people who made it ever understood what made the original good. The new BSG is completely devoid of the sense of adventure and romance that made me like the original. It's the same thing that seperates Star Wars from Stargate SG1.

Jurassic Park (the first movie) should be on there. That's a big one. Also, the list should not have Matrix as number one. Not with Children of Men, Blade Runner, The Terminator movies (the first two), Jurassic Park, Back to the Future and Firefly/Serenity on the list. Also Firefly/Serenity is better than Star Trek TNG and definetly A LOT better than the new BSG.

Not really that great of a list, really.

Yeah...Futurama > E.T. . . . .on what planet?

E.T. or Bladerunner should be first, no contest. Though Children of Men is the greatest thing I have seen in a long time. BGS gets of Serenity/Firefly, for not living a bumble and making past 13 episode. Oh and for being one of the best shows over the past 3 years.

no Farscape?..s**t list

the top 10 are ok...but the other 15 oh dear god how screwed up are they? in what universe is Lost better than BTTF, Firefly/Serenity, Futurama, Starship Troopers and Dr Who? sure Lost started out good but it's became a pile of ****e that you can;t just turn up in the middle of. anyhoo...it's a fair top 10, but come on...you know that the Matrix should be no higher than 3...T2 was better than it as was Blade Runner, but you know...whatever...

Dr Who sucks :(...IMO

the brittish public would dissagree with you there...
thats cause Dr is the only Sci Fi show UK has :D... i kid, really, i get that people here love it but i just does see whats great about it. But, its been going strong for 40 years, so i guess it should be in that list.

I would replace Back to the Future (not really a sci-fi movie) with Predator and replace Galaxy Quest with the Truman Show.

alot of people are pissed Farscape didn't make the list.

The Truman Show is sci-fi but Back to the Future isn't?

If I had to edit the list....I'd take off Heroes. You can't consider a show that has run for one season one of the best yet. For all we know Season 2 will be total crap. It is too soon for it to be on any lists.

That list sucks. No original Star Wars and Matrix at no. 1? Really now...

i would've added the six million dollar mar to the list or is my arithmatic off regarding the years?

lol@Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind being a sci-fi movie.

that's a pretty decent list... i'd have serenity/firefly somewhere on there, and lose eternal sunshine (great movie, but hardly sci-fi), but they get major points for having futurama and heroes on there, and for putting the matrix at number 1.

lol@Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind being a sci-fi movie.

Of course it's sci-fi. It's about exploring a fictional scientific concept. Sci-fi isn't just stuff set in space with aliens.

^Besides, Star Wars (Had they been in the last 25 years) were more fantasy than sci-fi anyway.

No Minority Report in that last?
Are you kidding me?

:whatever:

I cannot believe that HEROES is on the list and ALIEN isn't.

This is the last 25 years.....

Oh, never mind. I still cannot believe that HEROES is on the list.
