I've seen screen caps and everything, but I'm through taking Blizzard at its word for the past nine bazillion years. When it's out on the shelves and I can hold it in my hands, then I'll believe.

And that thing better be so freakin' good, my 360 will grow cobwebs inside, considering the wait and false hopes they've fed us SC fans for years.

I really think it's coming out sometime this decade. They held off on announcing it until it was beginning to shape up into something they might think about releasing, so it's not like we'll have a 5 year wait or anything. Hopefully.

StarCraft: Ghost, while not fully under Blizzard development, was still announced in a very showable state. At this point I don't remember when WoW came out, but that game was officially announced in 2001.

Ghost is a mess. WoW was a different thing, I don't think they held off much when announcing that. With this, you know the game has been in development forever already, they just announced it once it was like half way done, ala Half Life 2. It'll come out in 2008 sometime.

I'm still convinced that Starcraft: Ghost will come out someday. It has to, that's too cool a concept to leave on the back burner for another 10 years. Maybe Blizzard can outsource it to Junction Point or something.

Gabe Newell, when first showing Half-Life 2 said this "Half-Life 2 will ship on September 30th 2003. You can quote me on that."

Sometime around October 2004... we got Half-Life 2. Blizzard/100 = Valve so StarCraft 2 will release on November 12 2107 100% confirmed fact.
