torrent help

i am using ABC to download a torrent and it won't go past 0kb/s on either upload or download. i know not the file because it was going at 7kb/s before- i know its still slow but its something. i have been downloading the file on and off for two days and the first day i was getting above 20-30kb/s. i disabled my firwall but nothing happened. its already downloaded 45.8% and i have no idea whats wrong- help anyone?
