Wow, what a disaster.
FIRST of all, some of these are dubbing over Heaths brilliant laughter. WHY WOULD YOU DUB OVER LAUGHTER!??! Leave his performance alone and stop butchering it!
Second, apparently they don't even bother to hire an actor to dub who is in the same vocal register as the original actor... in the Italian version Bales voice dropped an octave, I swear. If the actor is a tenor, get a tenor, a bass, get a bass... don't just pick and choose willy nilly! I mean even though I prefer Batman to have a deep voice, if that was Nolans creative direction he would have chosen an actor with a deeper voice or digitally altered Bales voice. Since he didn't make that choice, he wants it to be the way it is, not some crazy bass voice that doesn't even sound right out of Christian Bales head.
Third, don't the actors get a say in who copies their performance? I'd personally choose someone who sounded SOMETHING like me to speak in another language.
And lastly... watch it with subtitles people! Thats how I watch foreign films... because I want to see the performance, not a comedy show of bad dubbing and mis-matched lip movements, voices that don't sound like the actual people... it RUINS a good movie!
