I got TDK trailer with TIH. The crowd was all "oooh batman, zomgz joker." TIH is a great movie btw. It will do nicely till TDK :).

I'm seeing TIH at 1 pm.

The only thing that could make this day better is if we get TDK trailer with it.

The fridge nuke was a moment for me in ID4. It was the moment when I realized what kind of movie this was going to be and I could just stop wondering and just relax and enjoy it even though i was slightly disappointed. You know those moments in movies. they really should have a name.

moments like the fridge being nukes and the cgi monkeys swinging with shia took me out completely of Indiana Jones 4. none of the old movies went THAT far.

The monkey thing was bad, but I really enjoyed the fridge nuke. It was ridiculous, but in a good way to me.

It is cheesy. Nothing wrong with that, though. Cheesy can be good sometimes and Indy had his moments in the past.

that's why it's been very mixed amongst the fans.

Really? Most people who didn't like it in Greece claimed it was the alien explanation more than anything. That and (to a lesser extent) thae fact that the riddles were chldish and Indy did nothing in the 3rd act.

The quicksand was the exact moment it went south. If what came after that was as good as before, it would've been pretty great

i have to say that being a film student myself with a job in LA has made me more cynical.

However, I don't have anything against the aliens. I have an issue that, a better product could've been produced out of Indy IV. I just felt like it was an awkwardly made film, and I was shocked by that. Everything about it felt kinda sloppy and even the visual effects were all half baked.

That was my problem with it. Not the story but the execution. It wasn't that fun to me, and it's not about 2008 vs. the 80s method of making movies because I don't buy it. The old movies are timeless.

I loved the quicksand scene. Perhaps my fav scene from Indy 4.

I gave Indy IV a C minus. I didn't hate it, but I was heartbroken.

I know..I know..off topic. back on topic. haha

just go download the script for Darabont's Indy 4 and use your imagination to erase the meh-fest you saw in theaters.

I think I'll do that. Where can I find Darabonts script at? Everything I heard was that Darabonts story and script were good until Lucas had to come in and ruin it again. Lucas just needs to stay out the writing process and just produce the freakin movie and let the writer(s) and director do there jobs!

Stay out of it Lucas!! :cmad:

Yes, Lucas needs to go away. At least far far away from the writers.

What I hated was all the cheeseball moments. I know it's "Indiesque" or whatever, but I'm sorry, little gofers and monkey faces were just dumb. I hate feeling like the audience is being pandered to. And either Blanchett was horrible or her part was horrible I can't decide which. She couldn't pick an accent though. It was some sort of Transelvannian-posh-English hybrid.

Feckin' gophers. So irritating. Still, I had low expectations going in, and wasn't disappointed.

Indiana Jones 4 was a complete disaster zone. Speilberg is a weirdo. He said in an interview he was doing this one "for the fans"

Heh..for the fans!? For the fans after 19 years you open up with a CGI gopher coming up underground...WTF!

This does not even deserve to be called Indiana Jones. What a shamble.
