Sequels Transformers 6 and future sequels thread

So what happened to Tessa and Lucky Charms? Did they get married and move to Ireland? :hehe:

They said it's' assumed they broke up. That whole relationship was just creepy anyway.

Those two were one of my most disliked aspects of Age Of Extinction. Glad they aren't in this, at least.

The worst sin this movie was this: no Marky Mark and Hot Rod "You Got the Touch" duet

The stupid thing is as well. Why is Cade a wanted fugitive while Tessa is free to go to college, when they were involved in the exact same events in the last movie?

Rolling Stone gave this thing zero stars. Is it really THAT bad? I mean...I LOVE Transformers. I grew up in the 80's, so the property is near and dear to my heart. I certainly haven't loved what Bay has done, but I've been able to turn my brain off and enjoy it for what it was. This one however just seems to be pure and utter ass. Even people I know that actually liked the others have had nothing positive to say about it.

I liked the previous 4 but thought this one was really poor.

Because that would require some thought on Bay's part.

It's not even thought it's common sense! Bay just didn't care here.

I really do think Bay didn't want to come back for this one. He kept talking about how AoE was it for him. I think they probably threw an insane amount of cash to get him back, but his interest in the property is just long gone. When there's no passion from the main guy...you wind up with a turd. Even Wahlberg talking about how he can now "get his life back" since he's done just sounds like nobody wanted to be there.

I only chuckled once. There is one good joke that has a solid build up and execution, and that was with Bumblebee getting a SIRI voice box. The effects are great but then again you can polish a turd can still call it a turd.

I’m scratching the bottom of the barrel here because this **** has pissed me OFF FOR THE LAST DAMN TIME!

I was avoiding this film all week because I had better **** to watch on days I could’ve seen this for free. On Monday, I saw War For the Planet of the Apes, and on Tuesday, I saw The Beguiled. BUT WEDNESDAY I PAID TO SEE THIS. The only reason I did this was because I had a 3-hour break from work and reviewing this was inevitable.

Several weeks prior to the movie’s release, a rumor came out regarding the film’s running time to be over three hours. Bay immediately came out saying that this is the shortest Transformers film he’s ever done. Though Michael Bay claimed this to be his shortest Transformers movie, this movie feels like an eternity to sit through.

Does Hollywood not have any more good editors for their blockbusters anymore? It's as if every week with the newest summer film I’m going, “This is the worst edited film I've seen all year. No no no, THIS is the worst edited film I've seen all year.” It feels like every blockbuster’s post production team has tested me recently, but this pushed me so far that I want to sincerely apologize to Suicide Squad which I considered being one of the worst edited summer blockbusters I've ever seen. Sorry Suicide Squad, Michael Bay has you beat. The film also steals the ****ing title cards style from Suicide Squad to introduce Megatron and his crew. The only difference is that it means absolutely nothing to the story especially when that entire crew is killed RIGHT SHORTLY AFTER THEY WERE INTRODUCED! They utilize it just to sell more merchandise to little boys.

This **** goes from a fine line of being a movie to becoming an endurance test. There is a scene where Sir Anthony Hopkins is in a car with his robotic butler. When you see that robot crash its car onto another, he happily says, “MOVE ***** GET OUT THE WAY!”
Yeah, I walked out. I never walk out of movies, but today I did. I went and asked the guy at guest services for my money back (while having 1 Hr & 30 minutes left on my break) and apologetically told me he was unable to do so. SO I WENT BACK IN TO FINISH THE DUMPSTER FIRE I PAID TO SEE!

Coming from someone who loves the previous 4 films (second one not so much), yes. It deserves that score. Whoever edited this film needs to be fired ASAP. It is utterly incomprehensible. Also, you can tell Bay just doesn't care anymore.

Beginning and final sequences are fantastic. Everything in between is ****. Also Optimus vs Meg is a joke.

Just go ahead with the Bumblebee spinoff and let someone else helm the remaining spinoffs and sequels. Bay and Spielberg can produce, but keep the former hands off.

Yeah. You can really tell he just doesn't give a **** in this one. Which is a shame because there are some really good sequences in there.

I will give them credit regarding the CG though, it is always top notch. ILM really needs to be granted some kind of acclaim for the work they've done on these movies since 2007, as the Autobots and Decepticons always look photorealistic and rarely seem out of place in regards to their human costars.

The ending sequence visual effects were fantastic. Crisp and clear.

Man, that REALLY sucks. Hopefully a fresh pair of eyes can turn the series around, but I'm concerned this is gonna Batman and Robin the franchise if it's THAT bad.

Wait...wait...did I read up there that Hot Rod is a Frenchman?!?! Please tell me that was a joke! Hot Rod was a favorite of mine right after Optimus! It's not like his personality is all deep and hard to get! The ****?!?!

Lol my box office predictions are going to be thrown way off thanks to this movie! Its doing horrible domestically and it's declining anywhere from 30-50% internationally. I don't even think this will reach 800 million WW... More likely it'll settle in the 700 range :o

Well, Unicron is pretty much the main reason why Quintessa intends to destroy Earth and revive Cybertron by killing him. From what I've seen from a leaked scene on YouTube, she namedrops him quite a few times while brainwashing Optimus.

There's also the end credits scene with her disguised as a human near one of Unicron's horns.

Ok so Creators and Unicron

are in movies franchise and they wage war between them

But if creators created all transfomers, whats Unicron's role for movies? In original story, Primus and Unicron are the 2 first transformers and Primus conceived 13 primes

They get married and have many babies

Question, what ever happens to the character of Izabella? I noticed on how a lot of the early trailers really highlighted on her character as though she would be the next big thing when it comes to a new cast of characters, yet I haven't heard or seen anything about her character after she goes to Cade's junkyard.

Honestly, you can tell. I have defended Bay with these movies up until now. But this was just really poor. The movie is actually getting worse the more I think about it.

I think the script had some good ideas, the Arthur and Yeager becoming the last Knight was actually done pretty well. But almost everything with TF's was just done so half heartedly. It actually felt like Bay didn't want them to be there. There were 20 minute stretches in the final battle of just the human characters fighting turrets. I actually couldn't believe what I was seeing at times.
