Although that does suck, how does it crap all over your childhood. Do you just want more of the same? At least you still have those original episodes to go back to, since this new show to me is the equivalent of Ultimate comics(616 fan).

I think the issue (aside from the animation style) is that they are fighting bad humans, instead of the decepticons, most of the time.

my issue with the new cartoon is more visual than anything. they're trying too hard to stress the "superhero"-ness of the Transformers. they're trying to make the TFs look like superheros when they're supposed to look like robots.

After like 6 different Transformers cartoons, does this really matter? I dont like the look of this animation, which is enough to keep me from watching. I'm just dissapointed they didn't do it digital animation with the movie designs as a base.

Doesn't make much sense?? Wouldn't the Autobots ALWAYS have the advantage, seeing as how they're millions of years older and ahead of....*GULP*....humans?? :

I like the "clean slate" approach and news characters and making it "hip" or whatever garbage they spin, but human villains? LIMO.

My favorite G1 'Universe' so far has been the new IDW series starting with Infiltration...

There are so freaking many, just pick a favorite, and don't worry about the other ones...They are all so different their should be something for everyone out there somewhere...

It's the equivalent of changing He-Man to no longer fight Skeletor but the Eternian's.

It's like......James Bond 007 is no longer a ladies man, but gay and he has to balance his Hair Salon business with his steamy late night Undercover Work. (This type of show wouldn't surprise me in this metro-sexual world nowadays, bleh.)

It's like......Godzilla is here to rid the planet of...................Gingivitis.

It's like......anything that diverts from source material.

Listen. I understand they wanna do something different, but COME ON! You are gonna come out with a movie this big, with the storyline it has, and then completely go another direction with the cartoon that could bring new younger fans in?

And they could just adapt anything and wreck the Human ****. It is unrealistic.

"Hark harkkkk.....you are calling a cartoon unrealistic <snurgle snurgle>. What a lesser being!"

That pic is WEAK SAUCE! It's like all of the CN tools were sitting around in their toolshed, and one guy says, "Hey, look how popular our primetime schedule is; it MUST be the goofy-looking animation harking back to Dexter's Laboratory. Now that these shows are mildly popular, we need to make EVERY show copy this format." Then the rest of the tools at CN bend over and adheir to the man.
