The Last Knight Transformers:The Last Knight Official Thread

While I can kind of piece it together, I still don't know what the **** is going on plot wise with this movie. And I am actually glad I don't so I can go in kinda cold.

If that poster is real, then we have a new frontrunner for 2017's worst poster design.... Looks like Prime has picked up a temper tantrum-ing Bee...

Eh, I'd argue the Spider-Man Homecoming one is still worse.

I don't mind the poster, it's a bit photoshoppy, but at least it's colorful and has more robots than usual. Is it just me or do Sir Anthony Hopkins and Laura Haddock not look like the actual actors? (I'm sure they are, maybe it's just weird photoshopping.)

As much as I don't give a care about seeing the movie itself, I'm getting a bit worried that we won't get another Imagine Dragons credits song. I loved Battle Cry, and it's pretty much the only thing about this movie I'm looking forward to, it would be a real shame if they didn't bring Imagine Dragons back.

Really surprised they went that far to give Hot Rod a poster. With a very peculiar tagline, no less.

Just assumed he was gonna have a short role in the movie overshadowed by Bumblebee.

Yeah, that's implying that he's gonna do something big.

I was thinking the same, he must have a significant role if he has a poster. But then I remember Cyclops got a poster for X3. In his hero costume as well. And then he was gone in 5 mins in the movie.

Optimus and Bumblebee were the only Autobots to have solo posters in the franchise so far, though.

True, We'll see I guess. I did originally think they included him as they intend to kill off Optimus though. I just hope I am wrong on that. Rodimus is no Optimus IMO.

I don't see them killing Optimus off again. I think by the end of it he'll break out of Quintessa's control but be horrified and regretful of what he's done, to the point of maybe questioning himself as a leader and going into exile somewhere.

...then again, that would be too much depth for a Michael Bay movie, so it most likely won't happen. :o

I would much prefer that happening than him dying again.

Appears to be another trailer coming tomorrow....

How many does that make now?

TV Spots keep on coming too...

I never assume a poster's tagline in anything except misdirection, ever since this poster for TFA:

It clearly implied (along with the rest of TFA's marketing) that Finn's destiny involved the lightsaber–and thus, very likely, that he'd be a Jedi. That proved to be a red herring, however, as Rey was the one whose destiny was tied to the lightsaber, and as far as we know, Finn doesn't seem to be on his way to becoming a Jedi. I think Hot Rod being overshadowed by Bumblebee is exactly what's going to happen, and this Hot Rod poster is for the sake of misdirection.

Why go through all the trouble of giving him a poster in the first place, then?

The previous movies only had Optimus and Bumblebee solo posters. Makes no sense to give another Autobot that isn't them that treatment now if he's not gonna have at least some semblance of importance to the story, or at least have a role bigger than expected.
