The Last Knight Transformers:The Last Knight Official Thread

It's either Infernicon or Infernicus, can't quite recall.

Also, someone needs to photoshop the actors out of that pic because otherwise that's a pretty neat poster.

Yeah that's Infernocus.

Like it says in the toy box description,

it seems like he's Quintessa's main guardian.

is it the last movie in the franchise?

I doubt it, it seems like the Bumblebee movie will take place in this same timeline at least. I'm hoping they decide to reboot it soon though, maybe the Last Knight can be the last story chronologically, then a few spinoffs in the past, and then a reboot.

I like this poster, it almost reminds me of a fun poster for an 80s movie. I'm not completely sold on Bay's universe (and probably won't be until we see how the Bee spinoff works out), but it's amazing how far we've come since the generic action movie style posters of the 2007 film. There's no doubt that Bay has a little more respect for the robot characters than he did back then.

Yeah that's Infernocus.

I love this robot design so much.

Yo, anybody else in Chicago, they're hosting a premiere next week at the Lyric Opera House and Michael Bay, as well as stars Mark Wahlberg, Anthony Hopkins, Josh Duhamel, Isabela Moner, Laura Haddock, Jerrod Carmichael, Peter Cullen and others are gonna be there. The above link is a contest AICN is running, so....yeah. I obviously entered because....movie stars.

That doesn't even look like a Transformer.

It's just really sad. The designs for these movies have been garbage, and they've always been garbage.

Subjective opinion, though I do agree some of the movie designs have been crap.

I like Infernicus' design. He has a Predacon asthetic going for him.

I personally dislike the overly complex design style overall (it looks kind of cartoony and unrealistic to me), but I enjoy some of the individual designs. I actually like how some of the movie-designs are non-humanoid, some of them are sort of abstract alien silhouettes, which is cool.

Reviews have started pouring in from the UK screening and it's about the reaction you'd expect (at least, what I expected).

Check out the TFW boards. Users there are going crazy about it, being di**s to each other and overall shamelessly generalizing people who love or hate these movies. Entertaining reads. :funny:

So it's another Baysplosions TF flick that will make hundreds of millions overseas. Big whoop.

Bay is claiming this will be his last Transformers flick. Ya know, like he said DOTM would be his last, and then said AOE would be his last.

As long as he has breath they'll never stop. And all the spinoffs and prequels will be under his ever watchful eye regardless of director.

I read a really funny reaction on twitter that went something like "it's like Michael Bay had a lot of ideas and no one dared to say no to him. No one."

Bay: "So Ive got this awesome story planned. Nazis, king arthur, knights of the round table, dragons, aliens, sentient robot world thing, mass destruction, underwater secret structures, evil Optimus!"

*crickets crickets*

Studio exec: "uhhh...here's $250 million. Try not to burn down the backlot."

I thought he got booted from that prestigious writing room or he decided he's not wasting his time with that.

Sounds like the Hype to me! :o

I am curious to see the domestic numbers for this film. Right now the franchise is in POTC territory. If this one performs like POTC 5, they might have to re-think that Bumblebee spinoff...

So are we gonna get months about people crying and whining over these movies?

Which is no different to just about every single ****ing day since the first trailers for the original movie came out...

People like to ***** and moan about movies if they don't get EXACTLY what they want...

Probably. I know Doug Walker already does. :funny:

It's funny because we're at the fifth movie with the same director. Chances are nobody's opinion of the films, whether positive or negative, will change with this one. If you're expecting anything different, that's your own fault.

Prime 1 Studio's Megatron statue is pure hnnnnnnnnnnnnng.

Megatron's design in this movie is imo the best of the movie franchise thus far.

That's not much of an excuse for these movies' poor quality
