That Bumblebee scene should NOT have been in the trailer.
Imagine the viewers reaction when [blackout]he is blown apart and they think he is dead but he begins to reassemble himself and kick ass.[/blackout] Now that is spoiled for anyone that watches this trailer.

I know the plot will be crap so will the characters but dam the robots always look mint but I can't bring myself to sit through Carmichael and them kids

Yeah, I...have no freaking idea what's going on there.

I'm assuming he gains that ability we were all theorizing.

You think if this one makes a billion dollars again, Bay's gonna do a 6th one...

Wouldn't be too surprising. He's been throwing the "'it's my last one" card for a few movies now.

So they arent letting Michael Bay direct Star Wars, but he will get his own CP3-0 in his own franchise.

BAY GOD

I just hope it's watchable story-wise. It's so painful when you have to sit through sequences of stupid nonsense leading to another empty boredom.

Besides those concerns, it looks great. Visuals, scale, lore, fights and battles, Sir Anthony Hopkins, an ancient Cybertronian knight who transforms into a three-headed dragon, those pesky kids, yea I hope it won't be the case, I just hope writing is better than what we've got from the earlier films.

But man those visuals look absolutely incredible.

With these movies a lot of times it's like you're watching two separate movies, the ones with the Transformers dealing with the task at hand and the random stupid human setpieces and humor. But they make bank.

Thank heaven for this video series. People bash the heck out of the Transformers films (myself included), but rarely does anyone actually sit down and analyze why they're poorly made on a technical level (or even analyze what works in them). When I think about it, that's kind of odd for one of the highest grossing film series of all time. I mean, the internet is filled with in-depth analysis of the Star Wars franchise, Lord of the Rings, and Marvel; but almost nothing insightful on Transformers at all.

Nothing about these movies makes sense.

It's really unfortunate. At this point I really don't give a care what Bay does because I won't watch anything he directs, but I just hope he hasn't ruined this universe for other people like Travis Knight who are making spinoffs.

...okay, that was actually pretty funny. :funny:

I suppose everyone has a different sense of humor, lol.. One thing I will say - they've really nailed Bee's facial expressions and 'mouth' movement. This is the first time I've felt like that face design kind of works.

Uh...It seems like the timeline in general is being thrown out the window here because Starscream is in the Nazi photos up above. He wasn't supposed to be here then either. He supposedly followed Megatron after he left searching for the cube if I remember correctly right?

Megatron landed on Earth thousands of years before the first film (but also long after the first Prime's died out). And its never explicitly stated when Bumblebee, or the Decepticons shown in the first film (including Starscream), landed.

But based on this new information, they were here for decades before Prime's arrival. Likely waiting for human technology to catch up, so they can use it to find what they were looking for.

The only issue with these photos are Ironhide (who we saw land in 2007) and Megatron, who we know was being kept frozen at the time, sporting his TLK look.

Based on those last two, its best just to take these as nothing more than marketing art, and not reflective of the movie canon.

I think these are just random promotional art stuff rather than actual canon-accurate stuff
