Transporter movies

I just downloaded both these movies thinking they would be good popcorn flicks... but hell... it wasn't even that.... these movies are atrocious... Jason Statham is the most overrated action star out there right now... his movies have just been horrible or barely watchable... i mean some actions scenes had their moments... but there is no plot and the action is just utterly ridiculous at times... transporter was somewhat watchable just to kill time... then I watched Transporter 2 and I was like WTF... what a crap ass movie... the actions is just utter nonsense... that had to have been the worst action movie I have scene in the past three or four years... just had to vent for wasting three hours of my life with these films

I liked the first one but not enough to make me see the second. The previews looked a little too over the top.

Statham is cool though.

I freakin love these movies! When I'm actually laughing at action scenes, I know I'm having a good time. Even the sound effects were over the top. It was like a comic book. "WHAK! POW! KLANG! WOOOOSH! KLANG-CRACK!"

That and Statham is just plain badass.

I got nothing against Statham... this guy is good... but he ain't Bruce Willis/John Mcclane good... Crank was decent and thats pushing it

funny thing earlier today i was saying how much he reminds me of a young bruce willis in terms of action..thing is dude..you will never beat die hard on that score..but an action movie 15 years ago are very different to todays standards..

The comparisons to he and WIllis are obvious... but it just isn't even that close... Willis blows him out of the water... I wish this guy would try something a little more serious... now I haven't seen Snatch yet so I don't know how he is in that... now he might have made a good Bond if he had the hair... the guy needs to stop with these overthetop action flicks IMO...

now I haven't seen Snatch yet so I don't know how he is in that...

You should definitely see Snatch. It's a different type of movie but Statham is pretty good in it (along with everyone else).

He looked like agent Smith there... and then the flipping the car over to make the hook on the crane knock off that bomb in the bottom of his car... what a joke... but what really did me in is when the blonde girl takes out her little pistol and puts a couple of bullets in the police chopper and the whole thing explodes... I was like u gotto be sh:tting me...

He somehow jumped 10 feet in the air, allowing himself to not get smashed by two cars.

And Die Hard 4 has a scene like that in its teaser. In terms of 'that's cool, but unbelievable'

Lol, I know. Or how about the acrobatic last fight scene with the blonde? It was the worst Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon knock off I've ever seen.

It's just wasted potential if he keeps going down the route of Crank and Transporter

Crank is a popcorn movie... it's entertaining but the quality isn't there... if those are the only movies he can do then let him keep doing it... but I think he can be a good actor if given the opportunity... Crank was good... for what its worth

Actually, I thought the first one was one of the best action films in recent years. Very well done.

The second one was HORRIBLE.

First movie had just a many over the top moments...But that's the point of these Transporter movie...They're suppose to be big over the top action movies....

I know. It was freakin awesome. My friends and I had a ball in the theater.

I love the movies.
They're great action films that's just fun to watch.

Statham is 1000 different types of awesome, and like Robocop said, the films don't pretend to be anything special.
