Trophy Hunting

I am simply too lazy and undisciplined to become a vegetarian. But I do try to shop for the least tortured animal products. Like free range chickens and eggs. Granted, I am assuming they are free range, since the packaging says so.

I just hope we start to grow meat in pietry dishes, so we can all enjoy the taste of meat without torturing animals.

Wow, I haven't bought chicken or eggs from the grocery in forever. I raise my own chickens. They roam free on the farm during the day, and then at night I lock them up in the barn so the wild animals don't get them (we got raccoons, coyotes, feral dogs and cats, predatory birds like eagles and hawks, and heck, an occasional Florida Panther out here)

My family had chickens in the past and that was nice, but it's just not feasible right now. Zoning, occupation, etc.

The chicken industry is pretty horrifying. They cull male chicks by the millions every year at breeding factories. There's that video of them dumping thousands of chicks into a wood chipper. Normally they either grind them to death, or use poison gas.

I try not to eat eggs anymore.

Now that they have set the standard other airlines should follow their example. Im sure the serious poachers will find other ways to move their animal heads around but at least this will make it harder for some of them to move their trophies around the world.

I suppose the poachers could always send their product by ship, but I'm hoping the costs would just be too much.

I remember reading a story about locals hunting poachers. It was awesome to read.
