Trying to buy NYCC tickets?

Don't bother, the whole system is worse than last year.

I got through the virtual queue, selected my tickets and tried to go through to the payment page. After a multitude of timeouts showclix have now forgotten my reservation code and I am back to square one.

Any one else having problems?

I was much luckier this year than last. I managed to get a couple of 3 Day passes for me and my girlfriend in about 5 minutes. A friend of mine waited about another 20 minutes before getting his.

Lasy year I didn't get any tickets and had to settle for Thursday tickets after waiting 5 hours on a line the day that they went on sale at stores. But the system for the past two years has been horrendous. I don't even remember having any issues when I bought tickets for the 3 years before.

I had two 3-Day tickets in my grasp, but the showclix servers timed out and then went unresponsive, after which they "forgot" my reservation code and I had to start over...

After three hours I managed to get a pair of Sunday tickets. Not what I wanted, but better than nothing I suppose!

NYCC need a better agent to sell their tickets for them.

Now I need to book my flight and find a hotel...

I managed to get a Friday ticket. TBH, I was a little under the weather today, called in sick, slept til 1pm, went out to get lunch and remembered the tickets were on sale around 3pm. I'm lucky I managed to get anything honestly.

Same here. I was in the queue for about 20 minutes and was able to get a 3-day pass without any trouble. Last year it took almost 2 hours, and I had to get a Friday and a Saturday ticket because the 3-day was sold out.

The system is terrible, though. The official site crashed before they even went on sale, and the queue system is an unreliable mess.
