Well, I had only Sam Hamm's and David Hayter's script, but in the thread Watchmen Ending: How should it be adapted? I read that some people have Tse's script!!! But where is this script? On every website they have only drafts by Hamm or Hayter. So, please, advise me, where is this script? Thank you.

I have the one that's set in the present day, but I would like to read the updated one set in the 80's.

As I know there're two Tse's drafts, one of them was finished last summer and the another one in November.

Er, guys... go back over to that WATCHMEN ENDING thread and take a little closer look... :oldrazz:

Yeah. They are 2 drafts by Tse and this summer will be the third and final version... But I dont read any of them. Hayters script is really good but I heard that Tses script s***** so I really want to read that... Probably as any fan... :hyper:

I have the Tse draft set in modern day bull**** version. Don't know any way of sharing it though.

then try megaupload.com, yousendit.com or some file hosting site

you know what im referring to right?

Does anyone else have beef with the first scene depicting the murder of Edward Blake?

I don't see the advantage of starting off in this manner over the way Moore did -- i.e. with Blake's apartment as a mysterious crime scene. The only thing that it does that the comic doesn't is establish the primacy of Dr. Manhattan in the global theater via the stock footage on Blake's television -- but I don't see why that's necessary.

Why not begin the movie just like the comic?

Yeah. I've always thought that the movie should begin with a cold open pretty much identical to the comic... and then somewhere in there (say, after the "Let's let this one fall out of sight" line), they can do some sort of opening credit montage.

Totally!

i dunno. im reading hayter's script and there sure is a helluva lot of exposition. and by exposition i mean all theyre doing is talking about plot. saying instead of showing. Although i dont like the idea of rorschach having alot of contact with the polica and them talking about him.

Tse's ending was ****. If I were Hayter I'd be putting on my solid snake gear and performing a little mission on the Tse household.

i really disliked Tse's script, especially what he did with the ending. Hayter's ending was better, but not by much.

Do you prefer the cheesy black boxes and "All you need is love" stuff to the booming voice of Doc Manhattan from the sky? Really?

yes. and i also prefer keeping the threat that unites the world ambiguous as opposed to pinning it on Doctor Manhattan which is stupid. i don't want either ending, but i prefer Hayter's script in general and his ending.
