^More characters/people in that new picture from "Final Curtain." Wonder who they are.

Just noticed this, but "Brand New Day" characters Vin Gonzales and Alan O'Neil appear in cameos, with O'Neil voiced by James Arnold Taylor. They appear in "Natural Selection", "Probable Cause" and maybe as background cops on several episodes.

Also, the photograph guy from "Interactions" works at the Coffee Bean, and is shown in "Shear Strength".

Hah, I knew I should have searched around for a topic like this! I was just about to start one when I remembered it

As we all know everyone in this show with a name is from somewhere in the comics. I was watching The Uncertainty Principle and when the credits came on I noticed Steve Blum also voiced a character named Dilbert Trilby. I assume that he is that news reporter. I went and did my research and in the comics Dilbert Trilby is the Daily Bugle's obituary writer who first appeared in Spider-Man Unlimited #3 in 1993.

Also we've seen Seymour O'Reilly in the show as well He the tanned kid who has curly hair and glasses who was trying to get Mark Allan on the gambling path again in First Steps. In the series, he's appeared for sure in First Steps and in Identity Crisis and had a small speaking part in both of episodes. In comics he was a relatively minor character who was just one of the "in crowd". He was also friends with Peter at one point in time but they started to drift apart as Peter was more interested in science than social gatherings. He first appeared in Amazing Fantasy #15 in 1962. He's currently dead I believe, killed by the Angelo Fortunado version of Venom.

Next up we have Officer Vincent (Vin) Gonzales, who is a cop who showed up in Probable Cause for sure in the cop car with his partner Alan O'Neal, taking Mark Allan and Mary Jane Watson on their "ride along". I think he was in Natural Selection as well as the cop who was shooting at the Lizard in the subway, (although on TV he did not shoot, he simply just aimed, damn censors) so basically he's the only Latino cop we've seen so far in the show. Anyway in the comics he's actually Peter Parker's roommate and of course part of the NYPD. Apparently he's also Pete's romantic rival (for Carlie Cooper) since One More Day's divorce settlement. He first appeared in 2007, one of you guys will have to help me out on the comic book as I'm not a Spidey buff (my buddy is though) I'm more of a Batman buff. However I must say this show has definitely got me interested.

Anyone find anyone else?

Wow, this show is just amazing. Or rather... Spectacular :spidey:

yea greg has stated all characters with speaking roles are characters from the vast spidey lore. From guys with only little roles in comics to larger parts.

Also Tiny McKeever and Jason Ionello also have appeared in this show as players on Midtown's football team. They are both seen in the episode Competition. Jason is the redhead in the crutches (Kenny Kong's "tackling dummy), where Tiny is the one blowing a bubblegum bubble that Flash pops. I believe we also see Tiny in The Uncertainty Principle as one of the cheerleaders, and in Identity Crisis as the kid with the baseball bat that Spider-Man takes to bang on the lockers. In comics, while I couldn't find much on Tiny, Jason was that [censored] Sally Avril's partner in crime when it came to them trying to get prize money for discovering Spider-Man's secret identity. Jason's father is an engineer who Sally goes to for weapons and equipment for her stint as Bluebird. Jason himself was Bluebird's personal photographer. They were both hit by an oncoming bus as Jason ran a red light under Sally's urging. She was killed and he only suffered a mild concussion. They both started out around 1995 in the Untold Tales of Spider-Man.

Greg has stated that we will se more of Jason Ionello, Tiny McKeever, Seymour O'Reilly, Vin Gonzalez and Alex O'Neil if they get additional seasons.

^ Well, I'm pretty sure Sally Avril made an appearance all the way back in Amazing Fantasy #15. I don't think her last name was actually given to her nor did she ever appear again until Untold Tales.

Okay, Identity Crisis is on right now, and in the beginning, does Peter say "for the Godzillianth time..."? Kinda slightly fits the thread and I just noticed it.

il check later, i got a reprint of it ( an anniversary issue, and amazing fantasy 15 reprint is in it)

What race are the Warren brothers (Aaron and Miles) in this show? I normally go by thier voice actor's race if their race is not completely obvious (like Silvermane is white yet his voice actor is not). For example Jean DeWolf is Native American in this series and her voice actress is Irene Bedard (who normally portrays Native American characters). So I assume Ox of the Enforcers is Latino due to his voice actor being Mexican. Maybe Miles and Aaron are of South Asian decent (Indian, Pakistani, etc) as their voice actor is Brian George (who normally portrays South Asian characters). They have a tanned skin tone, but that may not mean anything (like Lex Luthor in Superman TAS, who I could have sworn was black in that incarnation back in the day but he is indeed white).

It was nice to see Jean Dewolf. The show has some great cameos from the past
