TV Shows You've Given Up On.

I gave up on Supernatural at the beginning of this season. I thought they might go somewhere interesting with "All Mighty" Cass, but when they introduced Leviathans, yet more black eyed monsters that possess humans, I just gave up.

I tend to give up on TV shows far too often. I gave up on The Walking Dead in the middle of season 2 when nothing seemed to ever happen. I gave up on House with this last season. Things just got a little too mundane for me. I gave up on The Mentalist because I have no way to watch CBS shows so it fell by the wayside. Those are the three most recent examples.

Weeds.

A comedy-drama that wasn't particularly funny or dramatic.

And I thought it was gonna be really good too.

I lost interest in Supernatural after Season 5. It just felt like the rightful climax point it'd been building to the entire time, and everything afterwards just felt like a neverending epilogue.

I've given up on " True Blood". Missed the 2011 season due to watching " In the Flow with Affion Crockett ", on Fox, and missed too many episodes and lost interest in catching up.

I gave up on both Lost and Dexter about 2-3 episodes in.

Smallville - I gave up during season 2, it was just getting boring.

Glee - I just couldn't commit to it as I was channel surfing too much.

The Simpsons - it's worn out it's welcome years ago that I just sporadically watch it anymore, I can't even watch the reruns since they're no longer showing the earlier seasons.

This season American Horror Story: Asylum (hate that they use same actors for diff. characters than last season) and Modern Family

Cougar Town - I watched about half the first season before deciding I couldn't take any more of the unfunniness.

The Venture Bros. - I absolutely loved the first season, then was extremely disappointed with S2 (I think I liked all of 2 episodes), though everyone else in the universe claimed S2 was better than the first. I started watching S3, but it was on the same level as S2, which is great for everyone else, but unfortunately not for me.

Family Guy - I was late to the party, and devoured the pre-cancellation stuff. Got to the first season post revival and loved the first ep, which put me in hog heaven. Then I absolutely hated the rest of that season. I watched the first ep of the next season and thought it was great. Finally, we were back on track! Unfortunately the following eps were just like the previous season, so I pulled the plug for good.

Family guy just got too stupid for me. I just couldn't watch anymore. When it was relaunched I watched some, found it wasn't bad, but it's just getting worse. I just change the channel when it's on.

Heroes - About 1/4 into S4, I just stopped.

Quasar - Venture bros is amazing. How dare you? :p Personally I love the show but I can see why some people don't.

The Cleveland Show - in the beginning when it was sandwiched between Simpsons and Family Guy I'd watch it but it just seems like a black version of Family Guy and Cleveland's character is totally different from when he was on FG.

I suppose I should mention I gave up on Heroes near the end of the second season. I tried giving up on Smallville, but it never stuck. Then I kept justifying it by saying "surely the next season will be the last". Though if I didn't absolutely know season 10 would be the last, there's no way I could've gotten through season 9. I guess you could say that knowledge actually hurt me.

Heroes, NCIS, Nikita. I gave up on Lost after a couple of episodes, and Charlie's Angels after about 15 minutes. :hehe:

How i met your mother. First 3 seasons are amazing. Now it's basicly as the world turns.

I gave up on Revolution after a few episodes (terrible writing, bad casting choices, acting, etc...).

And I was watching CA just for Minka Kelly but I couldn't stomach how these 3 pretty girls all of a sudden act tough, boring, bland and a waste of time.

I've given up on Fringe and Supernatural this season, both show just bore me and were going in very uninteresting directions. This summer I gave up on True Blood, just couldn't get into the season.

I gave up on American Horror Story and Glee. But that was to be expected - I know when I start a Ryan Murphy show that I will probably love it at first, but that the love is destined to be short-lived. For a while, though, they're worth it.

Why would you give up Fringe during the final season? You watched it this far, so you might as well see how it all ends.
