UK sets up program to archieve all emails

they've been threatening something like this for a while

Well, No one can go on child porn in the UK without being caught.

This is actually very alarming. I have a baby cousin. What happens if I exchange e-mails of photos of my family visiting the beach, and my cousin is running around naked, as toddlers do? Is that child pornography? Who decides this?

Digatlly edit out the privates.

I don't know about in the U.K., but for it to be Child Pornography here in the states, the child has to be portrayed doing something of a sexual nature, and or the nudity has to be what you could call "gratuitous"... Like, a picture of a kid running around the beach naked is not, but another picture of a kid standing in the middle of a room directing focus toward his or her genitalia would be.

The best part of this will be all the innovations pedophiles come up with the circumvent the system.

Ok, so there's a lack of privacy.

Do you really think the governments of the world haven't been scanning the net for years now?

This is just making it official.

So people who live in the UK can have all their emails read?

Didn't Obama just pass something that said any computer could be seized now?

If a girl of 15 sends a picture of her self naked to her friend in the UK that is also classed as child pornography
