Chiklis and Evans were perfect and Gruffud really stepped up to the plate. McMahon was a perfect choice for Doom (anyone familiar with Nip/Tuck knows why), its just that piss poor script that screwed him. The only one that was messed up was Jessica Alba. Rachel McAdams really should have gotten that role.
Chiklis looked nothing like Ben Grimm (Ben Grimm was a good looking guy, not a bald meatball, thats why being the Thing was so bad for him), and his whining about being in the suit got old quick. Performance wise, you can tell he let the suit wear him.
Evans was annoying, and looked way too old for the Part. But out of the cast, was the best one.
Gruffold looked flat out (*snicker*) overwhelmed for most of the movie, and unlike Evens, was cast too young.
Julian Mchahon, Im saying this even as a fan of Nip/Tuck, was too sleazy and Soap actor-ish to be cast as Doom. I hoped he'd play it different, but he was doing his typical Cole/Bad Guy from Charmed bit. Made a already bad movie with a bad cast worse. This is Dr. Doom here, not some Metallo-electro Euro-Trump, which is what we got.
Alba, not really much to say, other than I never thought Sue Storm would look like a Hooters chick, and come off as Johnnys little sister. Cast too young, with a bimbo actress who was just there to draw in mindless MTV watching/Maxim reading teenage boys looking for her to wear as less clothes as possible. And go figure, Story and the produsers gave them their wish, Sue popped up in Bra and panties a bit too much.
I know FF has its fans, but Hell, so did Batman and Robin, Catwoman, and other films. The fact that this film gets a sequel is a slap in the face to other Marvel adaption fans.
