wow

I heard it hit hard but this is incredible :csad:

Damn, those people must have really pissed God off.

I can't believe that, it looks like an Atom Bomb was dropped...

so this is the new Katrina. Hopefully things'll work out for everyone.

 OMG  *prays for the victims*

I remember seeing the weather alert on tv (I live in Eastern Kansas) when the storm happened, and just thinking "that must be terrifying". A mile-wide F5. That's the thing nightmares are made of.

Heard it was a mile wide storm, that would do it

Mile and a half wide, EF5 tornado, with a satellite tornado attached.....

Unbelievable that only 10 people have died.....my hope is that they find no more.....unfortunately they are under a Tornado watch right now...about to be hit by golf ball size hail....

It does look like a small bomb was dropped.man, thats devastation.

The might, still some people missing and I heard on the news 95% of the town is destroy :csad:

That is very sad. My heart goes out to them all.

Definitely, thats why I said "I hope they find no more..." They are actually getting the names of those that are safe, so that they will know specifically who to search for.....the population is only 1,500 so that shouldn't be too hard....if there are any still alive under the rubble...I hope they get to them quickly.....

with all the horrible weather going on, i'm bumping this

I know I'm late in commenting on this, but those pictures are just depressing.:csad:

For a second, I was thinking those were photos of the most recent tornado until I saw Kmack. Still, incredible pictures.

Photo number 9: my first thought was that it was like an absurdist take on that kid's game where you fold your hands together. (Here's the church, here's the steeple, open the doors and see all the people.) It just opened up the roof.

All those shots are heartbreaking.
