Compared to Selene, how badass would you guys say Sonja is?

Dude, it's explained in the first movie and in this one that only one elder is allowed to rule at a time, so having more than one would break continuity.

Yes I know, they do show the coffins of the others. I just think they could have showed like a scene where Lucian is growing up and another elder is ruling. I always wanted to know what the others thought of lucian

They weren't around when he was born, Viktor ruled the entire time around his birth. But I'm sure the others have encountered him at least once.

Wow, in two days the film has made $20,700,000 and the production budget was $35 million, so it's just about $15 million away from making all of it's budget back. This movie is doing really good so far.

Thank God it didn't do "Punisher: War Zone" numbers.

Hmmm, I thought it wouldn't do that well, i'm glad it's been a hit.

I didn't think the second one did that well (or was even warranted)

I loved this movie, and I can't believe it was only made for 35 mil., this puts bigger budgeted movies to shame...

It certainly didn't look low budget (to me at least)

Fantastic. I'm happy to see it succeeding. This is a great small action franchise, and I certainly wouldn't mind seeing another film. BUT, I think whatever they need, we have to get more human involvement.

Cool. With this being successful, we can get back into the main plot and see some Kate Beckinsale again! Yay!

Just came back from seeing this and was very pleased. I recall reading that the idea was that we should be able to watch all three movies seamlessly and that was very true. Loved it! Loved Lucian best of all, he was so well played. I will be buying this when it comes out on disc.

Just saw it and really liked it, and awww Lucain and Sonja's story was sooooo nice, and I felt really bad when she well you know what lol
I'll do a spoiler even though we see it in the first film lol

I liked it when you saw Sonja die was a decent scene, when they deiceded her fate Viktor is cold but well acted his badass also.
Also loved the scene when Viktor found out about Sonja his reaction was funny.
Rhona did well in that role wished we had more of her, suited the role.
Seeing Raze was great as well, and Tanis.
Also the bit at the end with Selene was nice I want to watch the first film now XD

I might have to see it again hehe.

What sucks is that it makes Lucian's eventual fate in the first underworld film even more disappointing for me. he was too badass for that.
