Unintentionally funny moments in Comic Book Movies

Origins is the worst of all the X-films. Soooo bad.

Superman II

Zod: "Son of Jor-El, we were beginning to think you were a coward"
Superman: "I'm not a coward, Zod"

Oh, stop being so childish, boys.

Superman Returns

When they kick Superman's butt, and he shouts: "I'm still Superman!"

It's like they're beating up a poor mental patient.

Man of Steel

Superman: "You're a monster, Zod...and I'm going to stop you!"

I hope they have a similar line in Superman v Batman.

Batman: "Hi Lex, I'm Batman. You're evil...and I'm going to scare you!"

The Dark Knight Rises

When he's carrying the bomb. Oops, traffic lights! Oh no...the pavement! Gnnnurrrhurrrh! *toilet face*

Batman Returns

Bruce Wayne scratching the CD like a DJ. Just imagine Keaton and Gough rapping together in the batcave.

"Harp from Hell - M. Kay And Gough Daddy (feat. Ozzie Cobblepot)"

Dammit you have me laughing my ass off in the middle of work.

-Andrew Crying when he's arguing with uncle Ben

Because it's still pretty fresh in my mind, I have to say that basically ALL of Dane DeHaan's performance in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was unintentionally hilarious. I cried tears from laughter when Spider-Man visited Harry to deliver the bad news. "The venom can't kill me more!" and "You're a FRAUD, Spider-Man!" are golden. :funny:

Other "unintentionally funny" moments I can think of at the top of my head are:

-The weird/inappropriate music choices and cues from Watchmen. The "Ride of The Valkyries" is the most awkward of the bunch, methinks.

-Many of Batman's "growly bat speak" lines in Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy. It took me multiple views of The Dark Knight to figure out what he was saying about hockey pads. Still one of the best CBMs ever though. :)

-Bobby's "coming out" to his parents as a mutant in X2: United. It was so obvious what the movie was doing that it feels like a hammer being pounded on my head. I can't take it seriously.

-Um ... THIS scene in Superman II: [YT]XiN0Lwvi7CA[/YT]

-The "Property of Peter Parker" label on Spidey's camera in The Amazing Spider-Man. I remember the entire audience laughing at that reveal in the theater two years ago.

-The Penguin getting all "Patton" on his Penguin army in Batman Returns. With this movie being so dark, I just could not take an army of penguins with rocket launchers seriously. I think it cheapened the climax of the film big time.

Sorry about that:hehe: maybe we should add "NSFW" in the title.

Hahaha, oh man... The one where he turns around is like something out of a horror movie...a horror movie where Peter Parker is bitten by a demon-possessed spider.

Aunt May: "Peter, are you playing with matches again? Is everything alr..."

Peter Parker: "YEESSssssss?"

1. Because it's still pretty fresh in my mind, I have to say that basically ALL of Dane DeHaan's performance in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was unintentionally hilarious. 2. Bobby's "coming out" to his parents as a mutant in X2: United. It was so obvious what the movie was doing that it feels like a hammer being pounded on my head. I can't take it seriously.

3. The "Property of Peter Parker" label on Spidey's camera in The Amazing Spider-Man. I remember the entire audience laughing at that reveal in the theater two years ago.
.

1. He sounded a bit like a whiny kid who just found out that Santa isn't real.

(Speaking of "fraud"...I have a VHS with the first two Batman Beyond episodes. At the end of the first episode, Terry calls Bruce Wayne a "whacked out old fraud". In my language, the subtitles read: "You're not Batman, you crazy old frog!" I used to laugh and say: "he totally looks like a frog:hehe:" It took many years before I finally found out that it was "fraud"...:csad: )

2. I love Bobby's brother in the "I'm gay..uhm mutant"-scene. Just look at that sourpuss. "I hate my brother now! Look at what the sicko did to the poor coffee! Enough is enough!"

3. Batman should have a sign over his grandfather clock in the next movie: "secret entrance to my secret batcave".

I also laugh at the scene where Lois is falling on that spaceship in Man of Steel.

Its a great thing that you just said that because I also laughed when I saw that scene a few days ago!

Ditto. DeHaan's acting in that scene is comical. It's even funnier because in that scene he throws a glass and it smashes and the shards cut his face. I know all this was meant to be serious and dramatic but it was hilarious. He's like a kid throwing a temper tantrum because Mommy said no to him.

That scene with Wolverine cutting the ladder up was awful. You could tell they just sped up the footage in that scene as well which made it looking like a Benny Hill sketch.

Tobey Maguire has the weirdest facial expressions.

The whole transformation scene in the first Ghost Rider movie was hilariously bad.

How could I forget Steel? Literally the whole movie is a laugh riot. The only superhero movie you'll ever see where the hero makes a dashing exit from a crime scene by riding a slow moving escalator.

I still fail to see the humor in Tobey crying.

Garfield crying isn't exactly a laugh riot either.

Toby's face looks like the kind of face someone makes when they are mocking someone who is crying.

Even though I laugh at Toby, I know deep inside of me that we all look a bit like Gollum's butt when we cry.

I almost forgot the opening sequence from the first Blade movie! I cringe every time I see it. Let me explain:

1. The rave-vampires are about to kill a guy. Cool.

2. Blade shows up. Badass.

3. Blade slaughters vampires. Yes!

4. Blade shoots vampire with stake. I'm okay with it.

5. Blade does that stupid "fist pump" (I'm not sure what to call it) move and looks like Steve Urkel with fangs = everything's ruined.

Oh GOD yes.

These two scenes automatically spring to mind.

I haven't seen that movie before but lol at the first one and what is going on with the CGI in the first 1 has you cant even tell CGI most of the time now and yet that thing just looks behond bad.

Andrew Garfield crying in Amazing Spider-Man 1, it's not supposed to be funny, but man do I laugh
His crying in the sequel is not funny

Catherine Zeta Jones joining the Phantom, and checking the shoes of movie Buffy

"Help, I'm a turtle, and I can't get up" from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3

Watching Incredible Hulk right now. Immediately after Blonsky gets kicked into the tree by Hulk:

General Ross: FALL BACK!

The fact that's all he could muster at that moment made me chuckle.
