I left out the lesser known comic book movies. What superheroes do you hope will be added to the schedule?

Wow 2013 is more stacked than I expected. I knew all those movies were coming but seeing it like this makes it even more real. I think the may 14 marvel film will be Black Panther or Dr. Strange.

Disney/Marvel Studios may have 3 movies in 2014 if Thor 2 is doing alright in Winter schedule.

I'm hoping the untitled Marvel movie is TIH2 :(.

By the time Thor 2 is released it would be too late to release produce another film for 2014.

Surely if you are going to make a new thread to do a schedule like this, it's a good idea to do the lesser known comic-book adaptations, to let people know about them, as of course, all of these famous ones have their own sections on the site, and people will know about them anyway, making the thread redundant.

Feel free to post the other, smaller comic book movies.

I didn't want to clutter the list.

It would clutter the list?! You can read through it in 3 seconds or less at this point! There's an old saying 'if it's worth doing, it's worth doing right.' I just don't see the point of starting a thread in 'Misc comic-book films', and *only* listing the movies coming out that already have their own sections, I guess you don't see how illogical that is. eh, just a curious way of doing things.

Other comic book movies coming soon.

R.I.P.D 6/28/13
Red 2 8/2/13

Bullet to the Head (no date yet)

See I didn't miss much.

Lighten up dude.

It's not a historical document.

Yeah, I know, but I thought it was supposed to be informative and helpful at least.
eh, but that's just me, if I feel like doing something, I'll go all out, i'll geek out on finding out all the relevant info and compiling it, I mean, I thought you would have had fun doing that, if that was what you felt like doing in the first place.
Anyway, doesn't matter, I'm just trying to encourage you.

Encourage is just a another word for nag in this case.

All you had to do was add the movies you felt were missing from the list. That's what people usually do.

haha, maybe, but nagging can be good to encourage people to improve their skills.

I didn't want you to get lazy with the task you set for yourself by starting the thread.

my work here is done. :cwink:

Man, the things you take seriously...

I dunno.

i read that green latnern 2 come out in 2013

I don't know about Green Latnern, but I do hope Green Lantern gets a shot at redemption, if there's a better script & everything else. :hal:

I, Frankenstein should be on the list as well, thats due in January 2013

DC only has one movie on that list. That's sad. Marvel are cleaning up.

DC can't do s**t with WB pulling the strings. Notice, WB is recently only planning on releasing two CBMs within the next three years (MoS and Red Star).

On the other hand, Marvel Studios can't compete with The Hangover ($1,034,000,000) and The Hobbit (guaranteed two to four billion dollars as a franchise). WB also had Harry Potter for quite awhile ($7,701,234,647). Those three franchises literally crush Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, The Incredible Hulk and The Avengers put together.

....So, I can see why WB is in no hurry to release 2-3 more CBMs. :csad:

I'm actually only looking forward to Thor 2 and the Man of Steel from those ones... the rest kind of seem unnecessary and seem like they will bomb bad even if they are good. I can't imagine Captain America 2 being a tremendous success given the first film didn't really help establish much and was a barely profitable venture for Marvel.

Iron Man 3 will be a hit for sure but again really not looking forward to it, it all just seems kind of boring.

We need fresh stuff, Dr Strange, Black Panther, SUB-MARINER!... now those I'd be very excited to see.

It's completely unfair to compare a single franchise, like the Avengers, to 3 of Warner Bros biggest franchises.

Harry Potter is a done deal and old news. WB won't be making much from that franchise anytime soon.

The Hangover is going to get old the third time around and they'll be lucky to squeeze 2 more successful films from it.

The Hobbit is big without a doubt but you only get 2 successful films from it.

With Avengers, Disney can expect 3 or 4 Avengers movies worth a billion each plus toy sales. Then you have Iron Man 3, Thor 2/3, Captain America 2/3, Ant Man, Black Panther which will ultimately bring in alot more money than either the Hobbit or the Hangover ever could as a single franchise with only 2 more movies to offer.
