The combined scores coincide more with my opinion because TDK, Begins, Spider-Man 2 and X-Men FC are in the top five, with X-2 trailing at number 6.

Actually the critic list is backed up with analysis.

and while Superman is my favorite superhero movie I have to at least acknowledge that the general consensus is going to be different from my own when it comes to certain movies.

I pretty much agree with the lists. TDK stand on top of anything and Spider-man 1-2, X-men: First Class, Batman Begins and X2 are all top notch.

These are good lists, fortune most part. Captain America and Spider-Man would definitely be in my top 10, as well as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I am also in the minority that liked Batman Begins more than The Dark Knight.

Na, Metacritic just doesn't include reviews by any Tom, Dick or Harry who has a blog. It trims the fat, so to speak.

I don't really agree with the list. TDK shouldn't be top. Blade, Batman 89 and Watchmen should be waaaaaay higher.
